The location was absolutely stunning, the room was intricately designed and the very thoughtful gift hamper was the cherry on top. The bar and lounge was relaxing at night with Matthew a very kind soul showing us around and taking pics of us. Macillino at the reception was very helpful as well

We really enjoyed our stay at this small family-run business. The brothers Kai and Sven as well as the rest of the staff work really hard to make this place a lovely experience for all guests. We were upgraded to a lodge room as the adventure camp tends to not be occupied during winter time. The food was incredibly good, we had 3 to 4-course meals every evening and a delicious breakfast with lots of options. The barbecue dinner outside was our favorite. We also did the Sossusvlei tour with Sven and highly recommend it, as well as the sundowner tour where we saw zebras, ostriches, jackals, oryx, warthogs and more. There are hikes you can do around the large property and waterholes where you can look out for some animals. At night, you get to see the milky way and stars as bright as day. It's enjoyably quiet and the attention we received from Kai and Sven and their colleagues is hard to come by in other places! We'd definitely stay here again :)

Solitaire Mountain Lodge offers views of the Namib Desert and the Naukluft Mountains. It features 1 outdoor pool, a garden and a restaurant.

Very beautiful campsite. It's about 5 km from the lodge and reception wich makes it even better. We were the only ones there. So there is nothing else but the beautiful nature and animals. A giraffe crossed the street when we drove from the reception to the campsite. And you can see the stars very good because there's no other light in the surrounding. Nice clean sanitair with hot shower.

Staff put great effort into giving you an amazing experience in the Namib desert. Greatly appreciated. Very clean and tidy. The excursions they offer are given by very dedicated and experienced guides. I really recommend the Sundowner Dune Drive and the Sossusvlei Excursion (where abundant food was provided all day!)
