From two weeks of travelling through the beautiful landscapes of Namibia, this was definitely the best campsite! Not only because of the friendly staff, the best sunset so far, but mostly because of the service of the braai-package (homemade by the very friendly owner). Absolutely stunning quality and taste! A place worth to visit.

We had an amazing stay here. When we arrived we actually got upgraded into the Namib Naukluft Lodge, which is just around the corner and has the same owners. Staff was absolutely wonderful and super helpful. Dinner was superb and very healthy. Eating under the stars in absolute quiet and tranquility was an amazing experience!

Solitaire Mountain Lodge offers views of the Namib Desert and the Naukluft Mountains. It features 1 outdoor pool, a garden and a restaurant.

Really beautiful place, I love Solitaire. The farm is near to the town with a feeling of being miles away from civilization. Tomas welcomes us with a big smile,refreshing cold towers and cold juices, he went beyond to make us feel like home! Breakfast was above expectations and a really good coffee. The bedroom is big and the shower is just what you need after 3 hours driving in the desert. .

These spacious, air-conditioned bungalows feature warm décor and local touches. Situated near the Naukluft Mountain Zebra Park, the lodge has an outdoor swimming pool with a shaded seating area.

Staff put great effort into giving you an amazing experience in the Namib desert. Greatly appreciated. Very clean and tidy. The excursions they offer are given by very dedicated and experienced guides. I really recommend the Sundowner Dune Drive and the Sossusvlei Excursion (where abundant food was provided all day!)
