The reception and staff were very friendly and very welcoming throughout my stay. The room was very clean and I loved the shuttle service provided by the hotel for free. I also really loved that you have the option of eating breakfast at any of the Eko hotels which is a huge plus as you get the chance to experience all the hotels. The dinner was exceptional and loved the local food.

Breakfast was amazing! The rooms were big and spacious but more importantly VERY CLEAN. The staff were attentive and accommodated our every need. There are a few gems to be discovered in terms of dining and beaches and these make the visit worthwhile. Few places I went to and loved: Kaly Experience Slice Lagos Milk and Honey (their pastries are scrumptious) Eric Kayser Good beach

I was served with spoilt salmon , my card was charge twice for the same amount twice on two different occasion. Never use your ATM card at the GEORGE HOTEL otherwise you will be charge twice and the hotel will tell you is your problem , no feeling of empathy whatsoever. Avoid staying at the George hotel if you can!

Lagos is a bustling city still growing and full of life! There is beauty and art EVERYWHERE! There are several museums and beaches in the area. Lots of shopping from markets to street vendors to Malls! There is no shortage of goods or vendors to sell! The Nightlife is abundant and very lively! If you get a chance to enjoy a rooftop venue take it! The city is so beautiful at night! We ate at The Sky Restaurant in the Eko Hotel. The view from their deck is spectacular at night. The bartender is stingy with the alcohol, but the food was divine! The Lagosia was delicious but was out of all the ingredients for their continental restaurant. Their bartender was SPOT ON! Jumia is the way to go if you order food for delivery. The Shiro was EXCELLENT! The Sushi was to die for and their asian cuisine is delicious! We had pizza from Debonair’s, but the driver wasted time and it took him two hours to get us our food. Cold pizza is not a good impression. Their large is like an American Medium. So beware of portion sizing. Re-heated, the pizza was delicious. Avoid travel during peak rush hours if at all possible. you will be in traffic for an hour or more. so 11am-1pm and 4pm-6pm try not to get out into traffic unless necessary. I would not suggest driving even if you can find a car to rent. the roads are an accident waiting to happen for anyone that had never driven in Lagos before. Leave it to the professionals and download the Bolt app! Lastly, if you dont know anyone in Nigeria, bring cash and exchange it before venturing out solo. Check the exchange rates before you travel so you know what to expect. it changes often so keep an eye on it. Happy Travels!

The people and merchants are friendly there. It’s a very relaxing place. There are many areas that need improvement but it’s a great experience. The process of entering Lagos from the airport is totally unorganized and at some point’s corrupt. Once you get past that it’s a great experience. With some of the best food any country has to offer! I highly recommend Bolivar restaurant and bar. Great food, scenery and vibe.
