United KingdomThis is a really exceptional hotel in a great location. Hands down my best hotel experience in Lagos and I've used every single one of the major hotels. The owner is apparently OCD with cleanliness as staff are constantly cleaning the swimming pool, surrounding areas and even the huge patio areas, which is extremely outstanding to see. Room service is great and timely and the concept of a one bed flat in a hotel is unique and in a class of its own in Nigeria. It's like getting a presidential room for the price of a basic room. the swimming pool is awesome and never crowded. I hardly ever write reviews but this hotel really blew me away and I'm rooting for it to succeed as the owner is obviously a stickler for affordable luxury and is not in the business of cutting corners or saving costs at the expense of client experience. The best hotel in Lagos by a country mile.

IrelandI’m going to start this review by showing my appreciation to the staff, they were all very welcoming, approachable, professional, attentive and have 100 parents customer relations, and they were very helpful, a special appreciation for Ezekiel who was always on the go from helping new arriving customers while also attending to our needs, nothing is to much for him, I believe he’s a gem to the White Orchid Hotel. All the staff from the gate staff to the receptionists, the restaurant staff and the housekeepers were all doing a WONDERFUL job!
The hotel: The moment I walked into the reception I knew I had picked the best hotel to stay in Lagos, it was beautiful, the decor reeled me in, it gave me a sense of culture in every corner, the atmosphere was calming and quiet, the room was beautiful and matched the vibe I was going for, I love how spacious the bathroom was and how everything you could possibly need was there and so was the bedroom.
The restaurant: Oh my, the foods was well presented and was delicious, there was so much to pick from, not only that, they served different foods every single day, it made me look forward to what would be served the next morning, the watermelon and pineapple juice was to die for and the staff paid attention to my likings that they were ready to serve me the juice the next day, I appreciate that.
I really had an amazing time at this hotel and it will forever be the hotel I stay anytime I’m in Lagos.

Come with a lot of ready cash, I like the Airport no more hassle at the entrance, Access now is seamless. I was worried about that. I spent most of my time indoors though, It looked water logged while I was driving through streets trying to find my way in an Uber. When it rains do not go out.

Lagos is a crowded place filled with unfriendly, corrupt, loud, dirty, flooded, poor infrastructure and uncultured people that wants to exploit or steal your money. However, the food, gospel music and prayer culture of genuine Nigeruan Christians made my stay worthwhile.

I went to famous Balogun market got lots of bargains. Sol Beach was a dream and my apartment stay was very calming.
You have to know the time to move. A wrong time, you will spend hours in traffic. Flooded streets better to hire an SUV.

I only had a small amount of time for sightseeing and there was also torrential rain which limited that further. But the sights I was able to get to were very interesting e.g. the J Randle Centre. Would like to go back to see more.

Visit was restricted to hotel and business venue. No time for sight-seeing, so can't really comment on Lagos as a whole, although we were advised (by some locals) not to go out of the hotel for safety reasons. That said, all the people we encountered were very friendly and courteous.

Everything. This place is perfect and I am coming back here one day. The front desk is excellent. Perfect room and I have visited many hotels or boutique hotels to know. Spacious rooms, beautiful walls that look like they grt painted everytime a guest leaves. The food is good. Complimentary breakfast is ok. The front desk young lady knows her job and acts professionally. I forgot to pick her name.

The hotel's design is nice and it is clean, the area is central, bedsheets and bathroom toiletry are really good (towels not so), front desk is great, and that's where all pros end.
I was choosing between a popular hotel chain and this boutique-ish hotel for the same price and chose this because of a newer minimalistic design, but it missed on so many basic hotel expectations.

Actually. I didn't go to the hotel anymore. When I called the hotel on my arrival at Muritala Muhammed Airport in Lagos Nigeria the receptionist told me there was no reservation for me. So. I had to check in at another hotel.
