We loved the room, which had high ceilings, huge, comfortable bed, nice dining table, outside was a sitting area with table and chairs... and the bath was superb, with a huge bathtub and a comfortable walk-in shower, as well as double sinks. All in all very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and they even gave us plastic bags to take the left-overs and have them for lunch. Such a good service. The area was surrounded by nature and there was a lot of walking paths to walk with the dog. Everything was green and blooming... really relaxing place.

Arrival was good, the hostess was friendly, the interior was truly beautiful, with lovely colors, a nice decor, and a beautiful mural. Breakfast was truly superb, the room was beautiful and clean, and there was also a lovely mural. Breakfast was everything you could expect and more. The peace and quiet and respect on both sides were also evident.

The location is in the middle of a huge cycling and walking...

The location is in the middle of a huge cycling and walking area with beautiful views, lovely forest walks, and lovely places to visit. Don't forget to visit Bourtange. A delicious Chinese restaurant is within walking distance in Bellingwolde, a pleasant shopping town, and Winschoten with the largest rosarium (rose garden) in the Netherlands.

Bellingwolde is located in the "grain republic" and has a rich history. This is clearly reflected in the many beautiful houses lining the main street. It is also close to Bourtange and Oude Schans, also historical sites.

It's a nice little place with a pizzeria, a café, and a brasserie. There are many beautiful old houses. The next largest town, Windschoten, is a 40-minute bike ride away. There you'll find a long shopping street and many restaurants and cafés.

Unfortunately, MOW, the Bellingwolde museum, was closed.

Unfortunately, MOW, the Bellingwolde museum, was closed. I'll definitely be back to see it. The woods behind the museum are open, though, and I had a lovely walk there with my dog. Bellingwolde is a lovely ribbon village with beautiful houses and a natural feel.
