The breakfast was delicious! The host was very friendly and informative. The room was very cozy in the garden. I will recommend to everyone! The host has written up a guide that is very helpful if you want a self guided tour. The staff were all very friendly.

This cozy little room was perfect for us as two cycling friends. The room was very clean, with two single beds. One of our favourite features was having a rooftop window that allowed the room to cool very quickly and provided some fresh cool air. The very friendly staff were a delight and provided us with some good information of the area.

Very pleasant base for touring Noord Holland by bicycle.

Very pleasant base for touring Noord Holland by bicycle. Clean and comfortable with lots of wildlife. It’s a shame that the site has lost access from nearby Berkhout and restaurant facilities. Nevertheless I would come again.

We had the pleasure of meeting your staff Mariska, what a pleasure to speak with such a courteous individual. She made us very welcome coming from the US. The place was clean and quiet and very accommodating. Please provide an iron and an ironing board. May I suggest having power converter for those coming from outside of Europe, even if there is a charge. Or at booking inform your guest what is needed in your country. Thank you. Beautiful place and scenery next to the water canal.

The location is amazing, the lake and farmland its amazing,...

The location is amazing, the lake and farmland its amazing, You can see lot of different varieties of birds that you can enjoy throughout the day, you need to book a room in one of those camping sites or river facing rooms. There was not much to do around, we had to go to hoorn for food and some shopping. Amsterdam was 30 mins drive so its good that you can visit a day or two. There is nice shipping dock with some farm animlas near by like 11mins drive which was good.
