This was a wonderful place with very friendly staff and lovely facilities. Very clean and the pod beds were very comfortable and it was surprisingly quiet for having so many people in one big room. The meals in the restaurant were very tasty and served by friendly and helpful staff. It's in a great location right in the centre but not too far from the train station. Lovely place.

The Accommodations were wonderful. Very clean, well equipped w/ all our needs. The bed was very comfortable, and loved having the sitting area available as well. Tommie was wonderful. He allowed us to check in way early and that was very helpful for us. The breakfasts were very good. Little of everything. Definitely visit the Dordrechts Museum: good collection of...

Definitely visit the Dordrechts Museum: good collection of paintings and check out the restaurant/café too! Huis van Gijn is another must in Dordrecht. You can buy a combined ticket for both museums and thus save money. The Grote Kerk is also worth a visit but check the opening times - it seems to be open only on Saturday afternoons in the wintertime. Otherwise just enjoy strolling through this very pleasant town which, thankfully, isn’t overrun by masses of tourists

Our trip was mainly to visit family.

Our trip was mainly to visit family. But we also enjoyed the boat ride around the city. Visiting the old city hall the old churches and the windmill that was still working to grind flour. Many quaint little shops. Enjoyed the different types of restaurants with outdoor patios and great food.all in all a very enjoyable stay.

Dordrecht is located in the centre of the island of Funen...

Dordrecht is located in the centre of the island of Funen and as a base for exploring Denmark it is excellent, as other major tourist cities or sites are all in reasonable rail or road distance. As Denmark's oldest city it is well worth a visit. lots to see, lots of history and lots of good food to enjoy.

Dordrecht is the coziest and most peaceful city I’ve ever visited - a place where history whispers through every brick, and time seems to slow down just enough to let you breathe. Its charming canals, lined with beautifully preserved old houses and quiet boats, create a picture of timeless Dutch elegance. The architecture is a harmonious blend of the past and present - from graceful merchant houses to the majestic Grote Kerk (Protestant Church), whose tower watches proudly over the city. Every corner of Dordrecht tells a story. The monuments, narrow cobblestone streets, and hidden courtyards carry the weight of centuries, while local traditions bring the city gently to life. I had the joy of experiencing King’s Day here - filled with music, joy, orange everywhere, and a true sense of community spirit. The Saturday farmer’s market was another unforgettable highlight - full of fresh produce, flowers, cheese, and warm smiles. There’s a real sense of authenticity here: people take time to talk, to share, and to enjoy the moment. Dordrecht is not only beautiful - it is soulful. Beautiful city.

Beautiful city. Great for walking around and enjoying the historical buildings and public spaces. Wonderful museums and eating places. Great public transport possibilities. Greta accommodation close to access roads.

We climbed the church tower (€4 to look around the church and climb the tower). The main shopping area is all on one street, and has lots of drinking and eating establishments (try the Pancake District - it's a shop, not an area, and it's pancakes are delicious).

It is a lovely old building in a central location of the beautiful town of Dordrecht. Clean, friendly staff and comfortable accommodation. I stayed in one of the single pods. Low cost, large enough to the size of a dingle mattras with curtain for privacy. The two nights were very quiet. Take some earplugs because snoring neighbours is a possibility. Sanitary was very clean and roomy private showers with changing space. All in all, it was a great experience.

Considering that it is a hostel, it is a recommendable place to go. We had a 4-bedroom for the two of us, thus large enough. Drinks, pastries all day long; next to a natural resort. Ca. 15 min. by car to Dordrecht und regular train connections to Rotterdam. Good place for families and groups. During our stay thee was a school class.

What a cool little hotel :) - lovely warm welcome, great location by the old part of an interesting town, cosy room and a super breakfast! We recommend this hotel to any visitor who wishes to see Dordrecht and stay somewhere welcoming and hospitable. The decor and the downstairs bakery are also really great.
