Idyllic Farmhouse is located in Landsmeer and offers free bikes, a garden and a terrace. The farm is VERY spacious and cosy and really lives up to its label: idyllic. The owner proved extraordinarly nice, helping us identify solutions for our visit to Amsterdam and even offering us cake in the morning. The bikes were in good states and allowed us to go to Amsterdam the Dutch way, through campaign and then via the ferry. It's a very nice ride of about 25 minutes total, in the middle of green landscapes. It's hard to pinpoint all the things that made this Booking special, but I would definitely recommend it, and would love to go back myself as well.
Casa Grande - cityview Amsterdam is located in Landsmeer and offers free bikes, a garden and barbecue facilities. The property is 20 miles from Zandvoort and free private parking is provided. Léon was a very good host, very nice house. Short way to the Supermarket. Free bikes. Good equipped kitchen.
Bed&Breakfast de Noordeling is located in the north of Amsterdam, 2.5 mi from motorway A10. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Rooms here will provide you with a seating area and a flat-screen TV. Very friendly staff, beautiful courtyard, delicious breakfast!
Het Zwanennest is located in Den Ilp and offers free bikes, a bar and a terrace. The accommodation is 22 miles from Zandvoort, and guests benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi. This cute little B&B exceeded my expectations. Checkin was super easy - there is a bar on the property (open until 2am, can get a bit loud on the weekend so if you are sensitive bring some earplugs - I wasn't bothered by this though) and the bartender helped me check in. Room is very spacious and the bed was SOOO comfy, it was difficult to get up in the morning ;). There were plenty of towels and toiletries and even a fridge. This room was very well appointed. Breakfast was simple but good. There was freshly pressed orange juice and coffee was delicious. Het Twiske is only a short bike ride away and free bikes were provided. Getting to the airport was super easy but it would be good to know that the buses from Landsmeer stop running at 20:30h so if you are planning to take public transport to Amsterdam, be aware of the bus schedule. I'm not sure if taxis or Ubers are available from Landsmeer but during daytime hours it won't be a problem. If you plan on staying in the city late then this place may not be ideal, but if you want to enjoy nature and see the city during the day, then you're in the right place! The owner was super nice and was super helpful, I will definitely return!
