I a m a sucker for open-air museums, and here we were living in one! We loved the old house with its comfortable lounge, bright dining room and big terrace. The beds were comfortable and the shared kitchen was well equipped. Wifi was excellent.

What guests said about Å:

A very dreamy and picturesque town.

A very dreamy and picturesque town. If you are looking for a quiet place to unwind, relax and enjoy the surrounding. This is the place. There is a small pier to walk on. The cinnamon roll in the village bakery is delish! Having a car makes staying here convenient as we drove to different places for food and exploration.

We stayed overnight, arriving late and leaving the following day. My son wanted to run with our dog, and found a very rough path around a lake. Not the right place to look for gentle walks or unimpeded runs (unless you like running with cars), as the mountains tower impressively over the village, appearing to rise vertically from the sea. The location is, in that respect, stupendous, with lots of photo opportunities. Quite a few options for things to do - museums, cafes, a restaurant, fishing - definitely fishing - particularly if you find anything cod-related fascinating. I think a one night stay would be sufficient for most people. We enjoyed our time there
