This hotel exhibits a nostalgic charm which is combined with the amenities that one expects of a modern hotel. It has been a family-led business for 3 generations since 1959. The personnel is friendly and helpful. The view outside of our second-/third-story window is great and we were woken by the morning sun rising in the east. You can charge your electric car on the premises at a regular power outlet - so be prepared with the right cable/charger.

It was wash from start to finish. The host also picked us up off the boat and delivered us the next day back to the train station. The washing machine is also a dryer so we were able to do our washing and drying. everything you could think that you might need for an overnight stay was there. Microwave dishwasher electric kettle oven top and oven. It was a short stay but one where we were able to get everything we needed done. Thanks Jūratė, you were great as was your place. Nestled on the shores of the breathtaking Bjørnestrand Fjord, Bjørnestrand Fjordside View is a hidden gem that defines the epitome of tranquility and natural beauty. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the sheer magnificence of the surroundings, making it an unforgettable retreat that surpassed all expectations. It was really easy upon arrival the owners messaged me the door code with plenty of time before we arrived ensuring a smooth experience. The first thing that struck me was the impeccable design of the accommodation it had a lovely entrance room where you could sit to take your shoes off before stepping into the main property to the right was the main bedroom and to the left was the second bedroom slightly smaller but still incredibly spacious. The apartment really was well equipped for anything you could need it had plenty of towels, toilet rolls, cutlery, and condiments, and even still had some shower gel, shampoo and conditioner left in the dispensers. There was nothing more that I would expect it to have it had everything you need for a nice relaxing stay. The staff at Bjørnestrand Fjordside View deserve special commendation. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine passion for ensuring guests have a remarkable experience were evident in every interaction. From providing insider tips on local attractions to ensuring that we have checked in and are all okay they went above and beyond to make my stay with my family truly memorable. The decoration was absolutely beautiful, and the house was well-equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom, and more. The host was very thoughtful and attentive, and we had a wonderful time staying here.

I like position of the cabin, it is situated in very nice green Valley with the view on fjord and beautiful tall trees. When I will be in Bergen again I would definitely choose this place. I had my own peace and quiet time there despite it is only few minutes from city.

The house is very well designed and maintained but more importantly the location and the view dem be living room is the highlight. Definitely recommend a stay here.
