The location is on the highway E6 and is best as you do not have to detour. The facilities and also Parking. You can also get dinner if you want to have there. The city of Grong is 12 mins by car. The host is very friendly.

The host was very nice.

The host was very nice. Got to meet Super Mario (border collie). Cabin was rustic and very nice. Quiet and cozy. Light rain turned to snow by 8:30 am. About 1" or more as I headed out in the Skoda. Plows had not been on the roads. Fun 🙂.

The host at Gran Nordre was nice and welcoming.

The host at Gran Nordre was nice and welcoming. As was their Border collie Mario! Cabin was cozy. A perfect day 2 of the 13 day Norway road trip. Quiet. Warm. Sipping coffee in the morning as the light rain turned to snow. Out before the snow plows. A country drive in snow, in the Skoda 4x4 with "winter tires ;) "
