Wonderful staff in the hotel. Very friendly and helpful. The location is superb. The hotel itself is a fascinating building- architecturally unique; it’s full of interesting artifacts and pictures which the very knowledgeable staff are only too happy to describe/explain. Dinner was wonderful - three courses was absolutely more than enough! Breakfast was equally good. We were only there for one night but wished we were there longer

Thankfully the owners have restored the hotel with the upmost respect to tradition and heritage. The hotel has old world charms and elegance, and allows you to forget the modern world for some time
