Dovre Motell lies close to the Dovrefjell Mountains, about 37 mi from Rondane National Park. It offers free Wi-Fi internet access in all public areas and free private parking. The place brought us the 60's vibe, which was fun for us (1 night stay). It is located right next to E6, yet far enough from the road that we did not hear any traffic. The cabin has a kitchen and a good size fridge.
This hotel from 1820 is located just off the E6 Motorway, 1.2 mi north of Dovre town center. It offers an on-site café, free Wi-Fi access and wooden-furnished rooms with a seating area. Conforteble and warm room, silence and privacy, breakfast is one of the best in Norway.
Located close to Dovre National Park, Dovregubbens Hall offers apartments in traditional Gudbrands style buildings in Vålåsjø. Oppdal is 30 mi away. Nice cold sheet in crispy white, very good for the hot weather we experienced during our travel in Norway.
I spent one day in Dombas. I went to the Trolls shop. Has all kind of things, from postcards to sweaters. Went to Heime, very nice lady working there. She explained to me everything that we can do in Dombas and in the National Park. Went everywhere on foot.
Cozy little place close to lovely mountains and forests. Stayed at Dombås Gjestehus. Went to concerts at Trolltun. Ate at Frich's Cafe. Ate at the Chinese restaurant at Dombås Gjestehus. Easy to get around. Walking distance between the train station, the center and both Dombås Gjestehus and Trolltun. Also taxi available. I would recommend exploring the nature. I recommend going to the metal festival "Til Dovre Faller". :)
Dombås is a perfect place to stop for accommodation if you travel by car from Oslo north or from Steinkjær south. Nice nature in the area and the place is historic for those who like to get to know the role Dombås played during World War II. Junction from the E6 and to the west (Åndalsnes)
From the campsite good. I would only put other gotos on the website. One of the reception, garage some cabins and a tent. The space for campers is too narrow.
A short overnight stay does not allow for extensive assessment of Dombås. Still ate salmon at an otherwise decent nightclub.
I have already reviewed Dombås Gæstehus. Booking.Com's description has nothing to do with reality and the site should be deleted from Booking.Com's offer list if BC wants to maintain its credibility. If this does not happen, you should write that cleaning is non-existent and that the rooms are in very poor condition. Only mitigating circumstance is that the price is low. Inge-Merete Iversen
A hotel beautifully locate in the hillside of Dovre with a small stream flowing through the property. Very nice people. No parking problems. Excellent a al carte dinner with large portions. Good Norwegian breakfast. All together, to a good price. Recommended.
The accomodation was great, they provided everything including a big fridge. The staff, especially Mr. William, was very nice and helped to the max. I totally recommend this hotel.
Pleasant and clean chalet. The furnitures and kitchen equipments are old but appropriate. I recommend having breakfast in the hotel, it is worth the price.
We ate both dinner and breakfast in the hotel - both were very good.
Incredibly handsome waiters during dinner. Was offered other food to the youngest and even got us lots of fruit on the car ride home. Super service and would love to return with my 2-year-old. Large toy box that fell in his taste
I had an injury and they made everything possible for me to have a good stay. Very good.
One of a kind Hotel. Great venerable hotel. Cozy staff
