Wonderful historic hotel. Room seemed recently renovated, very clean and fantastic view on the water. Starting your day with a dive into the pool or the fjord is quite cool. Afterwards enjoy a nice breakfast with view of the early sun on the water makes it a lovely place to stay for 1-2 nights.

Beautiful hotel right on the edge of the water. Room was overlooking the Fjord which added to the wow factor. Breakfast was a wonderful buffet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Can highly recommend

The room is located very close to the bus station. (200 m). The room was exactly as advertised and comfortable. The shared bathroom and kitchen were great. Tom made sure I knew where everything was. This place is exceptional value for money.

Unbeatable location at the edge of the Aurland fjord. A superb little cottage, warm and cozy. Loved the sauna, we used it three times during our five day stay. It was quirky and homely. The furniture or equipment might not have been the newest or most modern but who cares with views like that. There is a small shop in the village to which you can easily walk, they have everything you need. We weren't aware that most attraction close after the 15th of September but we wanted a quiet stay and got that. Be aware that there are two buildings consisting of two apartments each. One of the lower floor and one of the upper floor which is were we stayed. Comfy beds and heating in each room should it be needed. Underfloor heating in the bathroom which also has a washing machine. The only things which were missing were somewhere to hand wet clothing, there was not clothes horse or line except outdoors. We were not given an oven glove and only one tea towel. There are clear instruction regarding waste and recycling. My son went fishing several times, caught a couple of small fish and even a shark (all released unharmed). Access to the village is from the main Flam - Gudvangen road via a single track, in parts steep, road for about 7km. Watch out for the goats! I hope to return to that apartment again one day, we loved it. Relaxing and gorgeous, wish we could have stayed longer.
