This place is so charming place. The stuffs are very friendly and breakfast is awesome. If I have more time, I will definitely go hiking right behind the hotel.

the hotel is excellent and highly recommended! our two rooms were clean and comfortable. the mosquito nets on the windows turned out to be life-savers. one of the rooms had a river view which is stunning and roars you to sleep. and the chef should be very proud of the restaurant! but the best feature is the staff, charmingly young, yet efficient, professional and very helpful. the bookings.com had failed to send our reservation through to the hotel, but the manager, bob, sorted it out, even giving us the original price despite the price of the day being much higher due to the peek of the tourist season. he upgraded one of our rooms too! and all that very politely and friendly! thank you to everyone who works at the pollfoss!

What a wonderful experience it was! The home is lovely, well situated. Ian and his wife were very generous and gracious hosts. Our room was clean and very comfotable. What a view! Amazing views of Fjord, waterfall flowing along the property. Very peaceful area with parking space. Amazing morning & evening views from patio outside the cottage. We are a family of 4 but there is enough space to accommodate 7 people. Many hiking tracks around the property. It is a camping area with facilities for Camper Vans however they have cottages too which are suitable for families traveling by car & in need of house with kitchen facilities.
