Brilliant. Perfect location, perfect room, superb view over the Fjord.. It was everything I'd hoped for and more, and that's in spite of the weather which was very stormy! Great TV with full streaming services which for a solo traveller, is a big plus. There was absolutely nothing wrong with this accommodation, although I wish the occupants of the adjoining rooms (on both sides) had been more considerate with the noise levels when coming in late, just before midnight. I simply don't understand people who think it's acceptable to be crash around, banging doors etc. when the likelihood is that others could be asleep. Sadly, you can't legislate for this, so no criticism against the property, just wanted to vent...

At first, we were a bit concerned about the location of the house, but the stay turned out to exceed all our expectations. Despite the narrow road, the house is accessible by car — even with a larger vehicle. After driving it a couple of times, we quickly got used to it. The only occasional delay came from the sheep crossing the road, which added to the charm of the experience. The people living nearby were incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with, which made us feel very welcome. The house itself is spacious and equipped with all the basic essentials. One of the highlights was the presence of their adorable cats, who completely stole our hearts. The surrounding nature is stunning — there's a large hiking area just uphill, and when the weather is nice, you can enjoy a swim in the lake nearby. This is a perfect spot for calm, slow-paced travel and truly immersing yourself in the beauty of Norwegian nature.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The room was very cozy and comfortable, and the breakfasts were truly excellent – a wide variety of options, including delicious traditional Norwegian specialties like brown cheese, which was such a nice surprise. The entire hotel feels warm and homely, almost as if you are staying at a friend’s house rather than a hotel. A big part of this experience comes from the incredible staff. Special thanks go to Mr. Robert, who always took care of us, recommended great attractions nearby, and made us feel truly welcome. We are very grateful for his kindness and support. Highly recommended to anyone visiting this area!

We stayed in the cottage with the sea view and it’s been amazing experience with a fascinating views. We even saw dolphins from our balcony when having a breakfast. That was a one of a kind experience.
