Excellent location for a range of activities, and very near the Rondane mountains with their 'little Alaska' feel. Spotlessly clean and very modern. Very helpful and welcoming owners, staff and reception. Will definitely want to repeat the experience and discover more about the area. Countryside, wildlife for example birds, eatery nearby with nice feel. 11 out of 10 for this lovely spot.

I will say this. I really liked Chotel, it has its own specific atmosphere. The hotel's glory days are long gone, but it is being gradually renovated. My children and friends felt great in this hotel and we will return to it as often as possible.

Beautiful countryside and the Rondane mountains.

Beautiful countryside and the Rondane mountains. Also, easy access by car from the main Oslo to Trondheim.main road. First went there in 1974, still love the area. Need to look around for open restaurants as some close out of season. Greatnif you are relatively self reliant.

Our room had amazing views and the hotel was in a perfect location for us as we were using it as a base before starting the Rondane Triangle route for 5 days. The swimming pool was nice and the food was good enough by Norwegian standards but more vegetarian choices would always be good. The check in experience was very easy with the computer terminal.
