Breakfast was super good. Very good coffee, bread, salmon and meat, and home made jams. The location is great in case you also have an activity booked with Trolltunga Active. The meetings happen the day before your activity inside this hotel so that is very convenient. You can also walk over a bridge and along the lake. The views are stunning. You can walk from the hotel into town but it's a little hilly. We booked a triple room which was very spacious and this one had his own private bathroom which was super spacious as well. We booked a double room with sharing bathroom and that was a good option as well. In the morning, it was only a 20 min drive up to Parking A nearby Trolltunga Active store and starting point for the Overnight Trolltunga hike.

This place is perfect. The guy that runs it is an actual living legend. He helped me push my heavy motorbike about to park it which was a faff. When we got in, heating was on, he hung up my motorbike gloves for me I hadnt even noticed. He offered me SOCKS! Theres little toothbrushes; you're not even limited to 2 towels. So many places would charge extra for using the shower- not this guy: he is so unbelievably hospitable. I felt so comfortable and welcome in this space. He is super chatty and has a lot of interesting things to say. He is just so nice and positive about life. He even asked his biker friend about cool routes for me to go on, one of which I did go on and it was amazing. Gave me tonnes of recommendations for when I'm here and when I come back in summer time. He has a lot of local knowledge and has experienced most of the things to do himself. I think this is my fave place I have ever stayed. So much character in the apartment. Mixed with many generations of things and the owner will tell you stories about them. I played the record player, sat by the fire, sat and looked at the mountains, wandered around and looked at the collections of old stuff and just ENJOYED the space. The bathroom is also excellent and the water pressure is so good. There is also a balcony to sit on. It was so relaxing. This place was so good I stayed an extra night. Absolutely stay here and chat to the owner. Next time I am around Odda I will remember this place and pray it is available.

Good introduction for non-self-driving tours. We came to the peaceful Oda and stayed in a very good apartment. It was very clean, spacious and centrally located. The kitchen was fully equipped. The four of us spent three days and two nights comfortably.

Vickinghaug is set amongst incredible Norwegian fjord...

Vickinghaug is set amongst incredible Norwegian fjord scenary. It has the other point of interest in that there is a, no longer functioning in its original capacity , factory in the middle of the Fjord. Because it poses no environmental problems any longer. This factory gives the Fjord an interesting historical relevance. The proprietors are obviously always improving the function of the accomodation to suit lots of different styles of travellers. We stayed in a three bedroom, self catering apartment with views on both sides. We had a drink in the evening looking over the lake and the waterfall and dinner at night looking over the Fjord. The walks in the area are popular because they are so full of natural beauty and thus attract many hikers and campers . The town felt slightly off piste from the over used tourist pathways which suited us perfectly.

The accommodation was spacious, new, modern and well-equipped. It is a series of separate apartments on the first, second and third floors. Access is from a door on the street and it is not possible to unload a car from in front of the building. You have to park in another location but there is plenty of free parking available nearby. To get up to the apartments there is only a narrow stairway. The first floor apartment has a door opening on to a large roof-space with very nice views of the fjord and surrounding town.

Odda is quite small and the place is not too far from city...

Odda is quite small and the place is not too far from city centre. There should be an additional information about rent of duvets and bed sheets for 10 euro or 100 nor coron (they do not accept cards so you have to take cash from atm). Ppl at the reception are nice. However the information about limits in water quite weird. In Norway everything is a bit more expensive but comping just Bergen to Odda, Odda you have to multiply prices for accommodation. Quality wasn't that high, room clean but showers are need to be improved. Also they need to inform ppl to close the door from kitchen as smell is going around the whole building. Enjoy your stay don't forget to take your tracking shoes before entering the building. :)

The apartment was lovely, very clean, warm and modern with lots of lovely touches including underfloor heating in the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and the location was ideal for visiting Bruerbreen Glacier , Latefossen twin waterfalls and Roldal. There is plenty of parking, shopping , supermarkets, coffee shops and pubs in the area and the river walk is also very nice. I would highly recommend the apartment to anyone looking for a central comfortable place to stay whilst visiting Odda.

Such a beautiful and stylish space, spacious rooms and living areas. I felt like spending more time in this apartment than outside. The check in instructions were clear, there was easy parking available to us next door, Had a stunning view of the mountains and Sandvinvatnet Lake. Comfy beds and comfy rooms. The place was renovated in Autumn 2023 so everything felt quite new and it was the epitome of Scandi style. This was our favourite accommodation of our trip - thank you Odda Panorama!

Nice apartament located quite close to the center of Odda, in the basement od the house. It is well equipped and clean. Owners were very supportive and kind. There is also a private parking spot as well as small garden with pleasant view on the fjord.
