This is a beautifully furnished, cosy wee house within easy walking distance of Otta with its aquamarine coloured river and with stunning views of the mountains. Welcome treats included complimentary tea/coffee and quality eco toiletries. I only stayed one night - such a comfy bed - and I couldn't take full advantage of the gorgeous veranda because of rain, but the huge windows gave onto lovely lush countryside and the comfy sofa, rugs and candles made it hygge and luxurious.

The hosts were extremely friendly and welcomed us to share the house with them including a lovely balcony with a great view. They also let me use their kitchen to make our own dinners. The bed was super comfy and we were served a delicious breakfast. Hans and Maria did everything possible to make our stay in Otta a memorable experience.

The hotel is located in a beautiful landscape, surrounded by fields and forests and close to the river. An ideal base for rafting. The room is basic, but tastefully decorated. Good breakfast and friendly staff who went out of their way to serve us a delicious ice cream on a hot day long after dinner hours. Thank you!

Liked the staff, the rooms, the food was excellent but the choice for dinner was limited. Breakfast was full of choice and there were many hot dishes and a great variety of foods. If this hotel is the standard offered by Thon I would have no hesitation booking again.

Beautiful room and an exceptional host. Hans and Marie did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible and the breakfast was first class. If you are in the Otta area, this is the place to be.

Lovely hotel right on the edges of Jotunheimen national park. Good value, lovely breakfast and a really comfy bed for the night. Recommend if looking for a pit stop or visiting the area
