We must admit we were a little worried about this hotel after having read some of the reviews, but we were extremely impressed with our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. The shower room was simple, but it was perfectly clean and there was always plenty of hot water. The big " plus" for the hotel was the whole atmosphere the owners and staff have created - friendly and welcoming. The entrance , lounge and dining areas are stripped back and simple but it all works well. Breakfast service was a surprise ( as we thought there was no breakfast) - coffee and fresh, warm croissants - and one of the best views down the Fjord in Balestrand - what's not to like?

It was just perfect. The owner helped us park our motorbikes in the best place and then gave us a room in the hotel where we could quickly bring in our panniers. Staff were brilliant. Beautiful location with a unique wooden church that told a love story beside the hotel

The Location is great with a nice view from the syrup suit. The whole Accomodation is really sweet, if there are some inconveniences the owner is quick to respond and resolve the issue. The Waffles in the morning are super delicious.

Marcin is a very friendly host. The appartment has everything you need and is very clean. There is a parking spot next to the apartment available. The environment is very beautiful and Marcin has a lot of tips for activities to do in the area. The ferry is also nearby, which makes it easy to travel through the fjords. Definitely worth a visit!
