Hotel in Stavanger
This waterfront hotel is located in a Victorian-style building, dating back 1900. Hotel Victoria is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Stavanger Train Station. This is a luxury hotel in the heart of the city with all the trimmings. The breakfast was generous, even for the price. The bed was plush. I searched for a last minute hotel room in August, and so there were not too many options. This place exceeded my budget, but it was an incredibly indulgent stay.
Hotel in Forus, Stavanger
Smarthotel Forus is located next to the Kvadrat Shopping center in Sandnes, 15 minutes’ drive from central Stavanger and Stavanger Airport Sola. It offers free parking and room with free Wi-Fi. Fair price, great breakfast (it also starts very early, therefore convenient for hikers), nice lobby area (with free tea, coffee and small snacks), and convenient bed. The room is minimalistic, which is all you need if you came to explore Norway and not to spend time in the hotel. The supermarket is just around the corner.

Located 2625 feet from Stavanger Central Station, is Frogner House Apartments - Lagårdsveien 61. Guests can enjoy rooms with satellite flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi access. Most things are automated nowadays and no different here but Staff were exceptional in assisting when needed and always helpful when asked for assistance. The kitchenette quality was a surprise - even has a small dishwasher but that is me when home so a nice addition when away from home.

Many families visiting Stavanger loved staying at Ydalir Hotel, Hotel Victoria, and Thon Hotel Stavanger.
The city was very relaxed. The hotel was close to the city center and it was easy to get to many different restaurants, shops and places of interest. I was impressed by the very well designed mass transit, pedestrian and bike paths and the amazingly helpful and friendly people. Even though rainy and beginning to turn cold, walking in Stavanger is a pleasure. I loved seeing the swans on the lake and watching the ships and boats in the harbor.
Charming city and a hub for day trips out of the city. Plenty of hiking or boat trips to the fjords. Good cafes and amazing restaurants representing the world and/or local produce. Many museums. I recommend the library/culturehouse Sølvberget, for both food, arts, activities and architecture.
Be careful - most activities are closed on a Monday, we could have chosen the days of our stay with better success. Everyone is very helpful and there are multiple activities that one can engage in. Food was above expectations in all places we went to. We loved walking around the city, most attractions are within walking distance.
Lovely small city with beautiful whitewashed timber houses. We also went on a fjord cruise to Pulpit Rock and the scenery was stunning. The petroleum museum was an unexpected highlight on a rainy day.
Beautiful old town area with high quality shops and restaurants. Gateway to the fjords with ferry nearby. We had a hire car which was needed as the ferry timetable appeared limited after september. Easy to access most places with tunnels.
Definetly propοse the hiking to pulpit rock as well as the fjord cruise! The area is ideal for hiking! As for the city, most of the restaurants close quite early so it would be better to have your main meal earlier. If you love nature and tranquillity, you will simply adore the place (lakes, forests, parks, fjiords etc). People were kind and helpful! Transport really conveniet and easy, but since almost everything runs online/automatically, be prepared to make most of your reservations online. The app "Kolumbus billet" is very useful.
I booked the hotel at the last minute. I knew there was just one room and it had bunk beds. The place itself is lovely. Attached to the hospital so the lobby is quite busy. There are a few shops there in the lobby and a restaurant that you can eat at if you're staying there. The man at the checkin was very helpful and kind. The bus from the airport stops directly outside so it's very convenient from the airport and very convenient to get to the center. The bus stops are right outside. Overall it was a lovely experience
Stavanger
An apartment in Norway offers the great advantage of not having to face the high prices of gastronomy in the evening. The apartment is well equipped with two TVs, enough cookware, a small oven and 4 hotplates, as well as a dishwasher and washing machine. In the bathroom, underfloor heating warms the feet and air conditioning/heating can be set individually for the whole appartment. The apartment is located in the middle of city center of Stavanger.
Everything you need in one place! Kitchen, washer and dryer, separate bedroom and couch folds out to a bed, too. Spacious bathroom with shower, fridge, hot water kettle, coffee maker, bowls, cups, etc. Clean and bright, too! It's within a few minutes of the Stavanger bus terminal and walking distance (within 15 mins) to most of the areas one would want to check out in Stavanger.
Very nice hotel, with great clean rooms. The staff was also nice and friendly. There was a very good choice of food at the breakfast, and everything was delicious. I liked that the area is quiet, there was parking next to it, and the hotel is located just a few minutes by car from the city centre. Next time that we are in the area, we will definitely stay in this hotel.
Stavanger
To be staying in a wooden house in Norway is great. The place had everything you need and was really close to the city center. It was perfect that we could park our car right next to the house. Over all it was a really charming accommodation!
Stavanger
The location is amazing, in Stavanger quaint old town and close to everything. The kitchen is well-equipped and had all the utensils we needed to cook a few simple meals. Comfortable beds. Cute terrace. The apartment was clean and tidy.
Comfortable and clean. Despite we knew it was a self check in/out accommodation, the staff in the office was very nice and helpful. They let us to leave our luggage in the premises until we left to the airport. 5 stars
By far the best choice in Stavanger. The hotel has an amazing location, the staff is great always willing to help whatever you need and buffet breakfast is delicious with many options. The rooms were clean very spacious.
Stavanger
This is an excellent location to visit Stavanger. The views at the harbour will provide a dynamic spot and the city centre is near by. The apartment and facilities are very clean and all the necessary stuff is present.
Stavanger
The apartment was very well maintained and clean. Everything I need it was there. Also very close to the sentrun, I recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit Stavanger
Hotel medium quality. The worst is no parking option for suv with roof box. Parking in Stavanger is a disaster, No info about that in booking. Hotel just boring.
Stavanger
Nice host-Close to Bus Station-Very good price when compare it to other accommodation in Norway-Super clean WC and Bathroom
