If you want to have a true experience of the Chitwan National Park with the best local guide who is passionate about the jungle and has a ton of knowledge about the wildlife, then this is the best place for you! Bishnu (the owner of the lodge and guide) is truly amazing! He started answering any questions I had even before I arrived at the area. His wife and his kids are truly adorable and they made me feel like being at home. I went with Bishnu in a half day jeep safari and a full day walking (and boat) safari, as well as some other activities like bird watching. Even if we were not lucky enough to see a tiger, we saw many rhinos, deers and monkeys! Bishnu knows every corner of the forest and he was explaining to us every detail and answering any questions we had. While other guides may show you only the basics without putting much effort, Bishnu is trying his best to find the best spots in the jungle so that the guests could have the greatest experience! One day of my 3 days stay, I was the only guest and Bishnu arranged extra activities especially for me so as not to get bored! Last but not least, the food was fresh and homemade, and it was the best food I had in Nepal! These 3 days full of adventure and great hospitality, was the best part of my trip in Nepal and makes me want to visit Nepal and Bishnu again in the future for sure! We had an amazing experience with Hari and his family. Hari knows so much about the area and was a great Jungle guide (and yoga instructor). The food was also delicious which was a good bonus! We hope to be back at Wildflow someday again :)

I came to Nepal not knowing what to expect but for mountains and I left amazed in significant part because of the hospitality of my Nepali hosts, including manager Gambhir and his attentive staff, who showed me wildlife and a glimpse of their lives as locals. On a walk one of my hosts picked dragonfruit from his own yard to serve me, and during an individual tour of the sweeping beauty of Chitwan National Park we passed right by the home of another. Visiting in the off season felt special, personalized for me, as did an afternoon watching a rhino graze about 100m from my park-facing room!

Spent wonderful night here. The lodge itself was well equipped with a porch to listen to the bird song. Truly lovely. Resort organized safari tour for us. The safari was wonderful where we saw rhinos and plenty of deer but unfortunately not tigers. The driver and guide were excellent showering us with knowledge of the park. We then we were invited to visit the lake with our guide to take a sundowner which was great fun and much appreciated. In the evening we were invited to observe and participate with the local ladies conducting their stick dance which we thoroughly enjoyed whilst munching on popcorn and beer.
