To put it simply, the best B&B I’ve ever saw, and I saw quite a lot in many countries. Not just that it has everything one could wish for including a living room and a fully equipped kitchen (all breakfast items included) but everything of quality, no cheap stuff. Home-made cakes were delicious, and so was fresh milk from the farm. Yes, the B&B comes with a small farm and a full set of lovely farm animals. I very much enjoyed the farm tour by Shona, the lovely host of the Willowbark Ranch. The location is peaceful and quiet bordering a nature reserve. In summary, the whole package is of an incredible value, come and check for yourselves!

A really lovely hotel in the centre of town with lots of thoughtful, and unexpected, touches such as make-up remover pads and a preloaded Netflix account. The bed was very comfortable and the room had great blackout blinds so I slept well. I appreciated being able to open the balcony door to let in fresh air. The bathroom was a good size and had a great shower. The hotel is on the main road but I wasn't disturbed by any traffic noise. I didn't have time to eat in the restaurant but the menu looked great and it was very busy so I would definitely try to do this next time.

The bed was very comfortable and the whole place is very clean. The host was also accommodating my first night and let me use the kitchen in a pinch, even though it's not on the listing.

Anne-Marie and Beat were very helpful, easy to communicate with, had the fire going, electric blankets to accommodate us. Nice amount of food for us to enjoy, good ideas as to where to go and what to see, like Fish andchipsat Waihi Beach, cute little town. The home was very spacious, clean, everything we needed. Little hidden gem for sure. We would stay there again and highly recommend it

Exceptional stay!

Exceptional stay! The 2-bedroom unit was spotless—clean, tidy, and comfortable. Thoughtful touches like Easter eggs and kids’ books made it extra special. Tim was warm, welcoming, and great to deal with. Highly recommend!
