This is a fantastic place to stay. Very modern and comfortable room. Hot tub and sauna. Wonderful views. Excellent food. I'd rate it higher than 10 if it were possible.

We were made welcome straightaway and the room was large and spacious. We felt that Alan and his wife had done everything to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. And the breakfast was great.

It was perfect for me as a solo traveler, although it is a 2 bedroom… the hosts left some lovely i think homemade pickles, cheese crackers and milk which was a very nice touch. It was quiet and very close to the beach.. about a 10-15 minute walk to the town… i loved it and would highly recommend this tiny home

Spacious, Clean, handy to so many places. North of Auckland eg Snow Planet. Wicked views straight out the door. Kids loved the ping pong and the walk down the hill to the beach. Amazing sunrise, would love to come back in summer.

Everything was so thoughtfully designed, selected, and located. It felt like home, only cleaner! The hosts had clearly considered what guests might need and want, and went above and beyond making sure that they provided all of the ingredients to make for a comfortable stay. Great light and room darkening shades, an expansive deck from which to enjoy the vies, extraordinarily comfortable beds and linens, spacious bathroom, ample hot water (and pressure), washer/dryer and dishwasher including washing powder, heat and AC, an intuitively laid out and comprehensive house how-to and guide book, milk and various condiments provided, an espresso machine with a milk frother AND freshly ground local beans…

Great location not far to drive from the city.

Great location not far to drive from the city. The house was spacious for everyone. Such a tranquil location with many animals around. Puhoi was always a favourite of location to visit when I grew up. Brings backs so many great memories.

I loved the location, good access to and from Auckland which...

I loved the location, good access to and from Auckland which was my intention but not from North. I hired the house on busineness as no accomodation at hotels in Auckland. Myself and two colleagues stayed and had plenty of space (from eachother :-) ) and easy access to Orewa/Silverdale as well as nearer.
