Located in a restored historic building in the centre of Timaru, The Grosvenor Hotel is just a 2-minute walk from the Intercity bus terminal. It is a 15-minute walk to Caroline Bay Beach. Enjoyed our stay. Loved the vintage feel especially the classic lift. Comfortably situated at the center. Friendly staff and with free parking just across.

Just 5 minutes’ walk from Caroline Bay Beach, Comfort Hotel Benvenue features a restaurant, a bar and a fitness centre. It offers rooms with free WiFi and flat-screen satellite TV. Phoned to arrive late in night, later than planned. They were very accommodating and rearranged for us. The facilities were great. Loved it :-)

Very friendly welcome, very clean cabin room, lovely grounds. Centrally located, 3 mins to Stafford St (town centre). Excellent place to stay.

Blue Dolphin Motel is a 5-minute walk from Timaru’s town centre and a 5-minute drive from Timaru Bus Depot. All units have a full kitchen and an open plan living area. Very clean room. Lovely hosts. Awesome shower. Would recommend.

We loved how close it was to town yet it was so quiet. Great place for our young kids. Playground and room to learn to ride bikes

Quaint little place to stay in timaru, very well located within easy walking distance to many food options. Nicely appointed rooms and very quiet. Gerald made our stay super easy. Tea coffee and biscuits were provided. Will definitely stay again.

Situated just 1 km from Timaru city centre, Avenue Motor Lodge offers spacious modern studios and apartments with self-catering facilities, satellite TV and a private balcony or courtyard. We have been traveling all through New Zealand for more than three weeks. We have found that these “travel lodges” really have the best beds!! This place was awesome. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
