Super nice! I arrived early and they made sure my room was ready as soon as possible. On my second day I had an early morning tour and they offered a breakfast bag (Sandwich, Cookies, Apple and a juice box - perfect). Beautiful rooms & common areas, I especially liked the roof terrace. Also really appreciated the fridge in the room & fast wifi. Plus a very good location, right by the beach, many shops & restaurants close by and the Peru Hop dropoff point is just a 2 minute walk away.

it is a hostal. lots of stairs to go up. We were on the Peru Hop tour from lima to cusco for 6 days. The Hostal Frayles was okey acceptable for the price. did not have air conditioner but being able to pen the doors in the balcony helped a lot since the night was very chilly. Very good views from the 2 bed with balcony watching the sea, the beach, and the local restaurants there. We went to the ballestas island, and were able to see lots of birds and penguins, and sea lions. We ate a Buffett in Paracas Restaurant, it was okey, not too good for me. It is a Nice place to just walk around, see the nice beach and eat in their restaurants. Although I think that the prices were too high in some restaurants. Also the little stores have hight prices than lima markets.

If you don't want to go to the national reserve for a sunset...

If you don't want to go to the national reserve for a sunset walk, take a sand buggy ride, do a boat trip to the islands, then I would say skip Paracas. For those that do the trips and excursions (like me) it's great fun. The actual town seems as though it's had better days and is worn and in need of some big investment, and possibly suffering from lower tourist numbers, but the surrounding areas are absolutely incredible with breathtaking views and natural beauty.

Really Peru is amazing specially for FOOD LOVER like me, Lima is a capital so much busy and have cold different weather and when we reached to Paracas is totally different with fabulous sunshine loved it.

smells awful here!

smells awful here! there is oil refinery, chicken farm, fish factory, and sewer smell. also police will pull you over for not having headlights on during the day and ask for bribes. make sure to have your phone recording the cops and they will let you go.

Paracas is a little germ hidden in a bay.

Paracas is a little germ hidden in a bay. Our boat trip to the balastas islands was cancelled due to rough sea. The organiser offered an alternative which was less attractive, but we still enjoyed the boat trip in a beautiful scenary. We also visited the National Reserve which is a must do when you are in the area ; its the second driest dessert in the world and offers both spectacular views and interesting history

Small cute town. 2 days is more than enough to visit. The tour with buggies were a bit of disappointment because you ride on the road (we thought it was going to be more exciting 🥹) Very good boats for the trip to Ballestas and it was cute to see the couple of penguins 🐧, birds and sea lions. Take a light jacket, it gets a bit chilly. People were nice. Beach a bit dirty 🥺 We treated ourselves with a dinner at the Luxury hotel, it was AMAZING! Their pisco sour and conchitas a la Parmesana at the bar were DELICIOUS! The Lomo saltado and ají de gallina at the restaurante were amazing! And they serve this delicious bread with dinner Mmmmm so good. And it’s not THAT expensive.(you don’t have to stay at the hotel to enjoy the restaurant/Bar)

We choose Paracas Guest House for as a base for our 2 weeks holidays in Paracas and we did not regret it. Very friendly host made us welcome and gave us plenty of tips about travel agencies, best pizza in town, pills for food poisoning :D and more! Bed was super comfortable, we had everything we needed in the room, We were VERY happy to stay William! Much reccomended!

Newly decorated and refurbished rooms in a perfect location in Paracas near the beach. The staff is amazing and very helpful. The breakfast is served with a great view over the bay. Bikes and quads are available at the hotel to visit the nearby nature reserve.

I wish I could give 10 stars! This room is a little oasis in the busy Paracas. Everything is so clean and lovely. Best shower! Yes, it is on the main road, but they provide very good earplugs. Senor Jorge is so kind and helpful. I wished we could stay longer!
