Really sweet home in an enchanting place. Just in front you’ll find one of the most beautiful seas, with coral gardens and all kinds of tropical fish to see. The house is simple but nicely decorated with style. We enjoyed the spontaneous cocoa demonstration by Romuald, Vetea’s neighbor and appreciated the warm welcome by Vetea. This is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the easygoing Tahitian vibe.

EVERYTHING :) It is a bit on the expensive side, but still far from OWB prices. And basically you get one of the most wonderful beaches and snorkel-spots you can imagine. Rooms are tidy, wonderful, and it indeed feels like a Garden of Eden, or a Village. We walked by foot from the ferry - 2 minutes walk on the shore. Shops, foodtrucks nearby - the restaurant is second-to-none. Stuff are not just friendly, but incredibly funny, in a good way. We celebrated my birthday night here - I will never ever forget it :)

Maui was an excellent hostess and treated us like family. It was great to be met at the airport and returned on the day we left. We arranged a scooter through Maui to get ourselves around Huahine and it was perfect, all very easy. We had a delicious breakfast each morning and we were delighted when Maui returned us to the airport to be farewelled with a hei - I was so touched I got a bit teary.

The host, Gwenn, was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. He took the time to explain all of the activities available in the area (the walk into town, via the beach, stopping to swim and snorkel is wonderful! Also, the yacht club for sunset happy hour from 5-6pm is not to be missed), and helped me book a scooter. It was also a very easy 8-10 min walk from the airport! For the pet lovers, there was also an adorable pet dog and cat!

Pension TUPUNA is a fantastic place with very friendly people. The ocean is literally on your doorstep so you couldn't ask for more. We did feel very safe there, even when we left all windows open for the whole day. The breakfasts were typically french/Polynesian - lots of fresh fruit, baguette, jam, coffee, some eggs if you need (extra paid).

The very professional and warm welcome from Virginie. She took time to explain not only the accommodation but also how to explore the island. Her guidebook allowed us exciting discoveries. She and her husband were very helpful during our stay. The cleanliness of the house and the well maintained garden The amazing views from the terrasse and the outdoor kitchen.     Great stay at Vetea place, friendly host living around in another house with his family, house is comfy despite being a bit dark inside, local style, kitchen ok, showers ok, moskito net and fans, big terrace and place around. Great place to stay on Huahine with beach and kayaks at your doorstep to enjoy a great lagoon, deep at last (2 to 10m+) for swimming, snorkelling, watersport (wing, kite...).
