Everything! The accomodation, we booked a family room for 4 days and the children have their own room and space upstairs. The check-in didn't go smoothly. I missed the part what they said in the confirmation from booking.com that "handled by the property" i thought it was good as okay when i paid with the visa card online. So we were asked to pay at the front desk, they explained it patiently and clearly. I was a little bit disappointed that our 2 visa cards (for payment) didn't work so we've decided with their advice to pay them in cash and upon check-out. The next day, we went to the nearby town to withdraw cash and payed right away 😁 We were happy with our 4 days stay in Damires, the nature around us, you can only hear the birds, the frogs and the crickets around 6 pm. We were so delighted that we have a complimentary 30-minute dry back massage in Ilaya Spa inside the resort (it was the best) and we had it 3 times! We also had 3 times delicious breakfast in their beautiful Balay Uma restaurant, we ate there also every night for dinner. Their food were prepared with much attention and love! We were empressed! The restaurant staffs were excellent and knows how to take care of their customers! My husband and I went for a walk and visited their farm, so much beauty around us. The vegetables, exotic plants, flowers, fruit trees (everything organic) they brew their own coffee and they make their own chocolate, chocolate bars and hot chocolate out of their farm-grown cacao. My children loved the pure hot choco drink! We bought two rolls of tablea to bring back with us to the netherlands. We did the canopy walk, what a challenge and what an experience on that bridge! It was raining every now and then but we loved it. The sound of the rain, a little bit of thunder, the smell of the surroundings after the rain. They have this zipline but we didn't have time to do it, we did instead a lot of swimming with the children.
