To visit the UNESCO rice terraces this is a fantastic location. You must walk in over a steep road and steep stairs to get there for about 15 minutes. So, do not plan to take your big roller bag! The rooms are basics but clean. The food was good. The manager was excellent and was always willing to help.

It was lovely. I'm glad we stayed 3nights. It was a difficult journey due to the road conditions of up and down and sometimes the steps are too high and narrow next to the ravines. But we are all glad we made this trip us we are all in our 70s. Our ages are 76, 2 72, 1 71, 45 n 41. We older were helped by our younger companions and the people that. brought our stuff. But it was a wonderful trip. Inspite of the difficulties. The woman running the place was very accommodating. She's excellent.

We loved everything about the property. The owner and host (Claire and Jose) of the guesthouse was very welcoming. She told us the story of home they came about building the guesthouse. The guesthouse was situated up on a hill overlooking the town and some rice terraces. We encountered a little rain but it was okay. I preferred it cooler. We stayed in a traditional Ifugao house with a bathroom and shower, a full size buck bed below and a twin on top. Mattress and sheets were perfect for the cooler weather. Shower came with a heater connected to warm up the cold water. Water Temperature was perfect. Claire was very attentive when what we needed. She preferred breakfast every morning while we were there. She cooked a perfect eggs and hotcakes for us. Had coffee or tea that was always ready. She arrange our tour guide (Clarita) to Batad and she explain the story of the places we visited. I will request Clarita again the next time I visit. We were arrange a tricycle ride with Lance who was a nice guy. He took us to all the viewpoints that Claire explained we should visit. She recommended places to eat for lunch and dinner because the guesthouse for now is only serving breakfast and is working on a full kitchen. All in all, I highly recommend and I would stay at Baleh Boble Guesthouse again.

Great spot at the end of the city towards Batad. The rooms are spacious with two outlets, comfy bed, there is a hot shower, a toilet with toilet seat, a little kitchen area for washing dishes or making some coffee, a big terrace with tables and a great view, and you can get wifi and towels. What makes this spot special is that Elma can book EVERYTHING for you, from transportation to and from your bus in Banaue, transport to and from Batad (keep in mind that Batad has no reception, so you might have to purchase wifi time to tell her a time you want to come back), busses to Manilla or Sagada, she can even help with making some plans for tracks and sights. We left our bags there, went to Batad for one night and returned to Savta's house to pickup our bags, a shower and it was just a very comfy experience. Also, the food made in her nephews bar (5 min walk) is delicious, so ask her about that if you want some good food, and entertainment while eating (karaoke, pool, terrace with view).

Lhoren and her family are very welcoming, they took care of us and were very helpful for tips on how to get around and treks. She also cooks very good food. We booked a guide with her and he was amazing, same for the transfer from/to Banaue. Everything was wonderful about our stay, only positive things to say. The view from the rooftop is beautiful. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to everybody! Big kisses to Kiro!
