I have been staying here on and off since 2010 and many of the staff have been here 20 years or more so it is always a joy to return. Form efficient polite security on the door checking vaccination cards to the efficient check in on the 9th floor and the warm welcome for each meal it felt good to be back amongst friends. The ever changing breakfast buffet with local specials, the a la carte lunch, the amazing Saturday gala buffet dinner with BBQ , My friends who visited from the provinces were given a warm welcome and they even booked me an Uber back to the airport. Finally thanks to the 24 hr clinic in the basement for twice providing me with medication during the night

Service and cordiality are a distinctive feature of this historic hotel. The property is in the Spanish colonial style, very elegant and well kept. The value for money is truly amazing, my partner and I could not find a single flaw with our stay. We didn't have a chance to try the pool and spa+gym, so we can't say how it is. Room service is fast, not too expensive, all employees are always extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was cleaned and tidied up completely every morning. We consider ourselves absolutely satisfied.
