The palace is amazing, with a lot of history and amazing views. You can see 2 different peaks from this area, on one side is China, other side is India, and third side is K2. The free guided tour is amazing too and guide took our most beautiful pics for free. Absolutely loved the stay here.

The room was spacious in a serene atmosphere. Once opens curtain of that wide window, could see mountains and trees that were beginning to change colors. The owner can arrange tour and transport. With that one day tour, I could see most of 'must visit' places in and out of Khaplu. As to transport, he arranged the commuter van back to Gilgit pick me up at the hotel, with no extra charge. The food owner's family prepared was delicious with abundant menu and was reasonably priced. Above all, without doubt, the owners sincerity to help solve guest's problem was noteworthy. For example, I stupidly left my waist porch at the last hotel. Then he arranged with the management of last hotel in Skardu so that I can get it back while I'm in Khaplu. I highly recommend this place!
