Pilwa is a beautiful village in the Polish Lake District (Mazury). We stayed in a caravan at Pilwa 17 for 2 nights. Everything was as expected or exceeded our expectations. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The location was very quiet and peaceful. We recommend the place to everyone who would like to escape the hustle and bustle of a big city.

Like visiting an old friend. Janusz is a charming and very warm person. Great place in the middle of woods. Better to come with an SUV due to bumpy forrest path, but we made it with ordinary family estate car.

We booked by accident one day later and host was very understanding and let us arrive day earlier. We only spent there one night but all was very pleasant. We will definitely return as its very reasonably priced and with great facilities. Very nice breakfast with lots of choice and lots of local products.

Best breakfast imaginable. Best selection of cured meats ever. Plenty for non meat eaters too. All in a finely furnished old dining room. The hosts were thoughtful and intelligent and so had considered every comfort. The cats were a delight, greeting us each morning and then minding their own business.
