Location is perfect, in the center of the Old Town. Very good breakfast. The room was not very big but was comfortable with additional sofa and place to sit. Bathroom size very much ok. Staff was very polite with exception of one person, I think he needs to repeat the customer service training. The hotel has very pleasant lobby, with a lot of places to sit and have coffee drink. It is also, very nicely decorated since the building used to be a cinema. Overall impression, our stay at this hotel was very satisfactory, and I would definitely stay again..

FAQs about hotels in Gdańsk

Charming Architecture And a Breath of History

Called the Amber Capital of the World, Gdańsk is the major shipping seaport and the most beautiful city along the Polish Baltic coast. It has everything from fascinating history and great architecture to a friendly atmosphere!

Also known as Danzig due to its complex past with periods of Polish, German and self-rule, the city is part of the Tricity urban area together with the port city of Gdynia and the popular spa town Sopot. It’s also a birthplace of the world-famous Solidarity movement, which helped to bring down Communist rule in Poland, initiating the end of the Cold War era.

Its charming buildings were rebuilt in a historical style after the city's near-complete destruction during World War II. You can admire the colorful townhouses of the Old Town by boat on the Motlawa River or by strolling down the popular Long Street and Long Market.

While in Gdańsk, make sure you visit the 15th-century St. Mary’s Church, the largest brick church in Europe, and make a wish at the Neptune Fountain, the city’s patron. While in town, try the legendary local Goldwasser liqueur with 22 karat gold flakes!

Whether you reach Gdańsk by train or plane, Booking.com has a variety of accommodations near the Lech Walesa Airport, the picturesque Old Town or the general city center.

This city!

This city! Like Amsterdam but less expensive, more quaint, more personable. I love the easy public transit. I love that you are never far from the water. I love the beautiful buildings. I love the number of museums and all of the activities you can do either outdoors, if weather permits, or indoors if the weather isn't cooperative.

We visited Gdańsk during the Ultrace event, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. From our experience, Gdańsk is an exceptionally well-organized and functional city. We felt safe throughout our stay, and the road infrastructure is excellent, even though the city doesn't have a metro system. The Old Town is absolutely stunning, with beautiful historic buildings and architectural details, some of them truly unique. The restaurants serve incredibly delicious food, and the portions are absolutely gigantic! What impressed us the most, however, were the local people. They are clearly proud of their traditions and cultural heritage while remaining warm, welcoming, and friendly towards visitors. As for Ultrace—everything was simply outstanding! The event featured unique cars, many of them true works of art, and the organization was flawless despite the scorching 38°C (100°F) heat. It attracted participants from all over the world, with vehicles brought from the USA, New Zealand, Japan, and many other countries. If you're passionate about beautifully built cars, the smell of burning rubber, and the sound of combustion engines, Ultrace is an event you simply cannot miss. Finesse at its finest!

If you enjoy history and culture, Gdansk is the most amazing city. So many museums to visit - WW2 museum, Solidarity museum, amber museum, town hall museum, crane museum, Artus Court, also the emigration museum in Gdynia. So many churches to visit - St Mary's Basilica, St Nicolas church, St Bridget's church (with the incredible amber museum. Not forgetting a cruise down the river on the Black Pearl galleon to spend time at Westerplatte (where WW2 started) Great restaurants, but you simply must try the Milk Bars - so much good food at a realistic price. And if you have time, visit Stutthof concentration camp - a very sobering visit. Take the number 870 bus there, and enjoy the scenery outside the city of Gdansk.

The property is located close to the Old Town, just a few minutes’ walk from the main streets and many wonderful places. There is also a bus and tram stop nearby, which is very convenient for public transport. The hotel itself is cosy. We got a nice, spacious room with a lovely view and good soundproofing. The staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast selection is great, and I’m sure everyone can find something to their taste. I would happily stay here again! 😊

Everything! Very friendly, clean and comfortable boutique hotel. Loved the very central location, but with good soundproofing from the street below. Great to have the choice of open windows or air conditioning. The breakfast buffet choice was incredible - right up until 11am. The staff were all so friendly, efficient and helpful. It was a great introduction to Poland and we would love to return.

The hotel is located in the Old Town, and there are bus and tram stops nearby (you can reach the Central Railway Station in just a few minutes). We came from the airport by bus and then walked for about 10 minutes. Our standard queen room faced the back of the building, so it was quiet. The breakfast was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.
