OMG! I ended up in Pultusk by mistake and what a great mistake it was! Zamek is a working museum with hidden places to explore and a new treat around every bend. Due to the time of year I ended being the only guest in this huge place, amazing! I would guess that there were 15 -20 staff tending to the incredible landscape, restaurant, reception, house cleaning and management. There were functions during the day which was no problem. I also have to throw a bone in there for the staff. I felt like I was being waited on hand and foot! ...Just wow, it was almost embarrassing. The meals were also made for a prince, great job there! I'd have to say this is one of the best hotels I've stayed in and I've traveled extensively through many continents. I find 5 star hotels mundane having no character. I'm into unique and historical ones '. The Zamek is way up there! Thanks to all that provided me with this experience!

The staff were perfect. They did all they could to help me with my questions, despite the language barrier. Not a single sign of neglect or boredom, on the contrary, pure and visible enthusiasm to host sincerely, kindly and professionally. The location is beautiful. Parking your car is quite easy and there are vast walking areas in every direction (I was staying with my dog). The dam next to the hotel is a fantastic attraction. It's quiet and well maintained. The breakfast was just decent. Restaurant's menu is rich and the food they serve is absolutely delicious. A special thank to the chef! Also, heartfelt thanks to the entire staff. My room was clean, well heated, spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was also clean and of decent size. The shower gel and the hand soap had beautiful scent.
