Real wood in interior what definetly comes with the wood smell! Things to do for kids when it's nothing to do (playzone)!! :) stuff great solve our problem with dinner!! I'am the person who think if i have to eat in room then i sleep in kitchen, we found solution for that problem!!

Renata was the nicest host. Although Poronin isn't a big tourist destination right now, U Gałów was such a nice and relaxing break during my travels through Poland. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a relaxing few days in small village life🥰. The village cafes are great for nice treats as well.

Niedzwiedzia Residence has truly exceeded my expectations! The place is gorgeous - the decor is beautiful; from the rooms to the shared space/ guest lounge. Everything is super clean, the space is warm and cosy. The staff is fantastic - they make you feel right at home and are super accommodating. Breakfast is a feast, everything is super fresh and homemade - throughout the day the lounge provides fruit and cakes and beverages for guests too. The wonders are lovely too - I'm vegan and GF; they've gone above and beyond to accommodate my dietary requirements. Location is perfect - far from the crowdedness of Zakopane yet just a short drive away. I will be back for sure!

We enjoyed our stay and had a very good night sleep! It was an easy self-check-in and the white apartment was well furnished, spacious and cozy. There is a small groceries shop nearby, where you can buy all what you need and cook it in the kitchen. There is a washing machine and driers, which is very useful too. Poronin is a nice little town, far from Zakopane’s crowds so perfect for those looking for a quiet place. Zakopane is only 10 to 15 minutes drive from Poronin so it’s easy to get there entertained if needed. However, having own car in Poronin is a must as public transport is not great.

Poronin as a town is used by most as a cheaper alternative to Zakopane. I am no exception. I like this town to spend the nights, since it's definitely quieter than Zakopane. And I do care for a good night sleep, where the only sounds from the outside are sheep bells and roosters. Still, it's close enough to allow getting onto trails of Tatra Mountains National Park or to one of spa or swimming locations in nearby towns. Although my transport of choice was the car, so I cannot speak for those who take the bus. Even with car, getting to Zakopane might be a hassle though, as "Zakopianka" often gets congested, so it's good to accomodate extra time to get to places. Especially if you aren't an early bird.

Poronin is not so close to Zakopane - that may me an advantage and disadvantage at the same time, depending on what are you looking for. If you stay there, it's really great idea to start sightseeing Tatra National Park in Wierch Poroniec - the highest point of entry - and go at least to Rusinowa Polana from which you had a great chance of beautiful view without crowd even at summer Saturday. I think it's really quiet place (if your room isn't close to the road) and I liked it.

The place is really relaxing and full of nature, but i believe that the people who live there are still not comfortable with Muslims, i was treated unequally in some places and i was treated unlike the other customers. I took the best of my anniversary and spent 5 beautiful days in Poronin amd Zakopane.

In the Summer there isn’t much going on in Poronin (a good thing if you are looking for peace and quiet!) so it serves as a great place as a base to access the Tatra Mountains. Local public transport needs a lot of improvement (it’s not impossible to get about but not easy) so a car would be useful. The scenery and surrounding area is beautiful and it’s feels good to be separated from the super touristy and busy feeling Zakopane. There are a few shops and eateries in the village which give you everything you need on a basic level and if you want more it can be found not too far away.

We liked everything about the accommodation, was really clean, good atmosphere, very nice view for the mountains Tatry, lot of space for parking. City Zakopane was close to the hotel. The host is very kind and friendly, she even offered a help when my spouse needs a dentist urgently. She tried the nearest clinic and also found a good clinic at the city center for us. Apartment is very clean and spacious with a beautiful Polish wooden style. I would recommend to stay here to anyone who needs a vacation in Poronin - Zakopane area.
