It was a relief to find reception was open at 01.00. On the booking site it wasn't clear that there was 24 hour check in. The hotel was perfectly placed between the airport and the port.. The location was perfect for us. The media hub behind the hotel with its high energy exercise regimes. music, lights and huge screens was very entertaining, The shuttle bus into town was a very nice feature aswell.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Place San Juan! The facilities were excellent - everything was super clean, and comfortable. The absolute highlight of our stay was the staff! Beautiful property in a great location! The staff were amazing! They were so friendly and helpful. We were having some drinks at the bar in the lounge and I heard the staff getting awful treatment from guests who showed up hours before check-in, hadn't paid for an early check-in, but were complaining that they couldn't get access to their rooms. There were two groups doing this at the same time. We left and went to get food elsewhere and came back to collect our luggage and they had stayed in the lobby the whole time, going up to the desk periodically and complaining to the staff. The staff kept their composure and were absolute professionals. They also made sure that other guests weren't affected. It's a little pricier than other hotels in the area but totally worth it for the beautiful décor and the amazing location!

Bayamon is an urban area with all the convenience and facilities that entails: close to shopping, restaurants, highway. It is not a “picturesque” neighbourhood. It is the best quality hotel in the area and I would stay there again.

Tranquility is the best part.

Tranquility is the best part. Many shopping and food centers nearby. Walking distance to the Plaza del Sol Mall. Excellent facilities, including a casino and excellent customer services. The rooms are modern and beautifull. Breakfast is delicious. It also has a huge parking if you have a rental or personal car. If not, its not a problem, you car travel in UBER or taxi to nearby malls, like Rio Hondo Mall, El Cantón Mall, and Santa Rosa Mall. Best by far, if you have a dog, its welcome to this hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay in Bayamon. The host was incredibly communicative and responsive, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. The property is perfectly located in a quiet and safe residential neighborhood. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of activities and exploring. To get to this side of Puerto Rico, we rented a car and it gave us the ability to explore other areas of the Island as well.

Our booking was canceled due to a miscommunication the hotel and booking agency. The location refused to reinstate the booking once we arrived. We had to pay to find another place to allow our children to sleep after being stranded in the airport for hours. We had to set up another booking the next day, paying more than the original booking, and receiving smaller accommodations to continue our trip.

Location was quiet and close to where we needed to be though Bayamon does get high traffic around 2-4pm maybe because of schools letting out. Everything was clean and tidy. Toilet paper was supplied, so that was great!
