I loved the location. Great resturaunts and shops very close. The room was very clean. We loved most of all that we had the condo almost to ourselves, along with the pool the entire week. It us a great family area, as well as party area on the weekends. There are boat rentals around the corner. It is also right next to one of puert ricos bioluminesence bays.

Really cool, funky place to stay, nice bar, good food, room was small but well furnished, overlooking the pool. Not far from town which was buzzing. Came for a short stay to try the luminescent bay swimming experience which was good but not exceptional. No beaches nearby, 30 minute drive to Playa Santa - don’t bother, dirty and no facilities. Balneario de Boquerón was much better, but again no facilities. Only stayed overnight, probably worth staying a couple of days to experience the night life in town.

Lajas is still recovering from hurricane Maria damage but...

Lajas is still recovering from hurricane Maria damage but setting that aside it seems like a real nice place with potential to become a real tourism capital. The government needs to step in and help this area to recover more rapidly.

La Parguera is a beautiful area.

We stayed in Pargeura for 2 nights.

We stayed in Pargeura for 2 nights. The first night we went on a Biobay tour. The next day we explored Cabo Rojo. Everything recreational to do in Parguera is based upon hiring a boat to snorkel, dive, kayak, paddle board etc. There is no beach in close proximity. Also, restaurant choices are quite limited and very meh. Parguera town is very safe and walkable although not particularly scenic. Anything beyond this small marina town requires a car to reach.
