Located just 1.1 miles from Cruz Quebrada Beach in Algés, Algés Village Casa 2 has a getaway with a garden, outdoor pool, free WiFi, and a 24-hour front desk. We loved everything! Just like the photos. Friendly host and easy check in. Algés Village is owned by a Portuguese couple who renovated the whole property (an agent checks you in). They live in one of the houses, they are super friendly and have a few pets including fluffy rabbits and one had babies whilst we were there! Amazing, relaxing garden, we didn't want to leave! It was so quiet and peaceful. Loved waking up to the sun rising. The house is fully equipped, comfy bed, shutters so nice and dark at night! Algés is 10 mins by train to Lisbon centre. Algés is a nice, friendly, quiet suburb, everything you need, even a haircut I had whilst there for only 19 Euros! We will definitely stay at Algés Village again!

Located within 1.2 miles of Cruz Quebrada Beach and 1.9 miles of Jeronimos Monastery, Lar dois coracões has rooms in Lisbon. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. the location was perfect for my needs, near the embassies. it is on the third floor and has a beautiful balcony. there is a great place to eat just across the road and plenty of parking nearby, but the star attraction is val, the owner, who loves people and is helpful, welcoming and kind.
Pateo House is located in Lisbon, 1.2 miles from Cruz Quebrada Beach, and provides a patio, garden, and free WiFi. Nice and cozy little city apartment in Alges nice rural place on the west of Lisbon city center. What was very pleasant was that the neighborhood at first site looked very quite and a bit old, but it actually had a nice Portugese flavor and very nice people. Little shops., coffee and tea rooms, little restaurants all at a few steps away. And then the biggest surprise.... ALGES HAS ITS OWN FOOD HALLEN!!!! Just 300 meters from your front door you find something which has the same quality as the Mercado de ribeira in Lisbon itself. Around 7 or 8 chefs operate their little kitchens where the a great and very good variaty of food choices and seating in and outside is available to you. All in all This Pateo apartment is 7.5 km away from the Carvavelos Beach to the west and the same from cais do sodre to the east, where you straight from walk into Lisbon center or boulevard. Belem is 1.5 to 2 km nice early morning or evening walk away.
Located 1.2 mi from Jeronimos Monastery and 5.3 mi from Bairro Alto, Tejo Apartment offers pet-friendly accommodations in Lisbon. Guests benefit from free WiFi and private parking is available on... Good location to all sights, transport and restaurants. Friendly owner - very helpful
The best is that can commute from here in mots Lisbon . The Marginal Road crossing the town will lead you either to Cascais either to Gara Oriente.Basically , very good place to have a rent . Anywhere to go in Lisbon max 35.40 min lets say from here to get with bus ,and 20 min with car.Highways also very near.Small nice restaurants, all around Alges, especially chinese and japanese ones.Near beach, however not a clean water and nice place to bath or get sunshade. But you have beautiful beaches withing a radius of 30 km: Carcavelos, Cascais , Estoril There is a Mexican restaurant near the Passeio Maritimo but the prices are too high even for a beach location. Way too high Near Alges is also Belem and buses , trams, going there every 20 min max.Shopping mall near : Allegro Mall that has also a free shuttle.Easy to get also to Sintra or Cabo de Roca.Basically it is great place to rest something and every day discover different things anywhere around.
A great part of town from which you can access the busier parts of Lisbon. Buy a 24 hr bus/tram/Metro pass and take the 15E tram from the bus terminal into the main part of Lisbon (about a 20 minute ride). Then you can catch the Metro and go anywhere, or take another bus to see the city. We rode the Tram 28 too see the city and like the Tram 18 route too because fewer passengers were on that tram. Stop and eat at a café just south of the City Center, and choose from a number of wonderful museums to visit. There was too much to do in just a week of vacation in Lisbon, so don't drive yourself crazy. Take it easy and enjoy life at the Portuguese pace. Don't rush, relax, enjoy life and try any of the wonderful pastries. They are delicious. And you don't have to leave Alges if you don't want to. There is plenty to do and see here also.
