Great location nestled in the countryside .However you do need a car , as there are many places to explore locally, as you are between Porto and Averio , both good places to visit .There are some good walks locally as well . Hotel is quiet and with a restful atmosphere.Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel is cleaned to a high standard , rooms are a good sized , very comfortable bed .Good choice of breakfast foods , very clean and fresh fruits and local pastries available. I am gluten intolerant they have gluten free food available .

It's a very beautiful and picturesque place! It was raining when we arrived, and it was very romantic to look out the window and hear the sound of the rain. I'm sure it's wonderful to walk there in good weather. The common area and breakfast were also very good and thoughtful. I loved everything, the house and everyone made me and my boyfriend feel at home. I was so amazed by how many languages they knew and how many adventures they experienced. Everything was so beautiful, the whole house had many things, some were historic and were restored, some were choose with love and care. Also, the bed was so comfy!! I have insomnia and for the first time in years I slept like a baby. The breakfast out of this world, and not only they gave us a like bag of food to go but we made a beautiful lunch together.
