The staff is everytime I have been there super nice. We love our stay always, so relaxing and quite. Just the place to be to relax. Pool is fantastic and the bed a very nice. Best sleep :). Breakfast is delicious.
Located between Mafra and Lisbon, Aldeia da Mata Pequena is a small rural village that was completely restored and transports visitors into the past in an untouched green landscape. This authentic rural village is a perfect place to spend some peaceful moments on holidays. Every house has a special charm and they are just gorgeous. The hosts were also really kind. They welcomed us with full refrigerator and shelf of food and drink for breakfast. We also got a fresh and warm bread in the morning. It was so delicious I could eat it without anything! I would definetly recommend this place…
Located in Mafra, 15 miles from Sintra National Palace, Vila Mafra - Grill Terrace has accommodations with a terrace, free WiFi and a 24-hour front desk. Perfect location to the centre of town. Very easy to find and to settle in. We had a really lovely time and strongly recommend it to people who don't mind a few steps. Perfect for us.

Mafra is a quiet little town with great historical value, complemented by the quality of the local bread, pastries and food in general. Another bonus is its location, very close to Lisbon, Sintra, as well as several great beaches, such as Ericeira.
Mafra is a very interesting city. If you are lucky you can enjoy a concert of 6 organs in the basilica of the Palacio Nacional de Mafra. Mafra can be reached by car from Lisboa airport or Belem in less than 45 minutes if there is no heavy traffic. It is possible to visit Batalha, Tomar, Cabo Carvoeiro and Opidos in a day trip from Mafra. Alternative daytrips are Belem, Lisboa or Sintra. Mafra has fine restaurants with delicious traditional Portuguese cuisine.
All the construction and decoration of the village respects a moment in time when electricity was still a novelty. And all this, without losing the comfort of modern times. The friendliness of our host. The excellent location, as although we are in the middle of hills and valleys, we are also very close to the beac, to Mafra and even to Lisbon.
The hotel is within a walking distance from the gorgeous XVIII cent. palace/monastery of Mafra. The staff is welcoming and the facilities are comfy and clean.
