The hotel was absolutely beautiful. I really loved the way they displayed the historic elements of wool into the decor. The pool area was lovely. We had a nice quiet room. The breakfast was plentiful and had lots to choose from. Staff was wonderful. Large parking lots of spots. We took an UBER into the old part of the city for dinner and it was only about 5€. Free bottle of water in our room was a nice touch.

In the country overlooking the valley and the town. Facilities were new and owner Sarah was super. After driving from Madrid and arriving around 3:30 we didn’t want the hassle of driving into town for dinner (town is typical rural Portugal) but every restaurant in the area delivers so we sat by the pool, had a beer or wine, jumped into the jacuzzi and waited for food. Bed very comfortable, shower great and lots of stars at night. There are not many rooms so we had the whole grounds to ourselves 😀 Plus the national park is in the vicinity for hiking the next day.

This is one of the nicest places I have stayed anywhere in the world. Beautiful location and facilities, wonderful host and staff…super friendly and always helpful. The pool is a marvel and the food was fabulous. I hope I can come back someday.

Everything was great … and we didn’t used almost anything 😊 Extra gas bottle for the water heater, equipped with everything needed for a quick cooking, Playstation, Tv, 2 bathrooms, etc etc … I got lucky and meet the host but it was not needed since everything is well organized, directions and check in

Very large, quiet and comfortable room and bathroom with air-conditioning, cable TV with even a few English channels, great balcony and views, outdoor swimming pool, wonderful continental breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice, hot coffee, fresh baked bread rolls and crescents, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, eggs cooked to order. Very friendly hosts, great value and location in rural Portugal 15 minutes from the city of Fundao. Highly recommend!

It was really a wonderful experience, The atmosphere and the hostess gave us a wonderful welcome . The facility is wonderful ,very new like a 5 star luxury hotel. We love the dogs cats and donkeys outdoors. How wish we have more time to stay longer. My daughter and I also enjoyed the wonderful breakfast. Wonderful!

It was an amazing stay, good location, close to Covilhã and Serra da Estrela trails. The house was very clean and had everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. All the amenities were in very good standard and the garden was huge. Very peaceful and perfect for a getaway in nature. The hosts were incredibly nice and flexible. Highly recommended.

It was an amazing stay, good location, close to Covilhã and Serra da Estrela trails. The house was very clean and had everything you’d need for a comfortable stay.
