Quinta da Cerdeira has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Seia, 3.2 miles from Bread Museum. Guests at the farm stay can enjoy a continental breakfast. This place is a perfect acommodation. We intented to stay there for only one night but te place was so great that we decided to stay one night more. The best thing about it are the owners doing absolutely everything so that you can feel comfortable and like home. They are fantastic people, always helpful and ready to give you advice. Furthermore, the location is outstanding with the beautiful outdoor space. It is very peaceful place out of main roads where you can just watch the stars during the night and relax. The rooms very spacious and beds very comfortable. Breakfasts are simple but delicious - especially queijo and jams prepared by the owners. Everything was absolutely perfect.
Set 5.6 mi from Bread Museum, Casa da Ribeira do Círio offers accommodations with a shared lounge, a terrace and a shared kitchen for your convenience. We stayed a weekend during exceptionally cold days. The place is very warm, with heaters in the rooms, it is also possible to regulate the heat. Very soft and comfortable, large bed. Good shower. The place is very clean and cozy. Tasty breakfast, with good coffee and amazing home-cooked pancakes and cakes. The staff is super hospitable and charming. The hotel locates in a beautiful place with nice view. Definitely recommend to stay here and looking forward to stay here again.
Casas do Terreiro is located in Seia, 3.7 mi from Bread Museum. There is a games room on site and guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. The accommodations features a seating area. It's perfect for a romantic escape. José Henriques was very welcoming. Casas do Terreiro is located in the church square of a quiet village. In the heart of the Serra da Estrela region. By car, you can spend your day visiting the region. And return in the evening for a peaceful dinner.
Located in Seia city center, Casa do Vidoeiro dates back to the 19th century and offers modern, self-catering studios and apartments. It sits 15 mi from the highest point of Serra da Estrela Mountain.... The staff were excellent! They told us everything we needed to know and we did pretty much everything they recommended and we loved it! Everything was perfect. I couldn't believe how nice the place was for the price!
Quinta Do Crestelo is a complex of historic granite houses decorated with country-style charm. Its natural garden with pool borders on meadows and brooks of mountainous Serra Da Estrela Nature Park. The location is great, has restaurants close by and also a supermarket. It was very cold this time of the year but the room was very cozy
Located in the Natural Park of Serra da Estrela, this 19th century building of granite stone offers traditional rooms with balconies. Rui the owner of the chales was wonderful! The place was just what we were looking for. Dinner also perfect. One of the best places to stay!
Only went into Seia once during our stay but wished we'd spent more time there. Difficult time to review things because of all the restrictions at the moment. Recommend Taberna to eat, great food and lovely service.
Perfect getaway from busy life. At the foothills of serra de estrela, the tiny villages, especially Sandomil, was a great break. The hosts at Sandomil RiverBeach Nest were fantastic. The house by the river is relaxing and zen. I would definitely come back.
Quiet, calm, pleasant and spacious city, many shops and offices, you can solve any issue, from shoe repair to laptop repair. There are 3 interesting and unique museums (Bread, hydropower and toys), several good roads to the mountains, clear water in the tap, a lot of forests and springs. Good Italian, Neapolitan pizzeria in the city center with an outgoing owner and quality pizza.
I love to have lunch in the restaurant of Museu do Pão, (The Bread Museum), in Seia. Great food and great surroundings. Its a buffet of starters and deserts and there's a fish dish and a meat dish included in the menu for 19,50€. Its a great place to try the local wonders.
our cottage was lovely. unfortunately it was a too hot for much walking but it is a wonderful area to visit. i would definatley return. didn't like the selling of the puppies on the road sides but they did seem happy and cared for. nice bread delivered to the door each morning. good walk from outside the door or go up to the dam and have a stroll from behind the shop and let the dogs (or you) cool of in the water. surprisingly lovely area.
Well situated to explore the mountains, the bread museum is very good and close to town, plenty of shops and a big supermarket. Not easy to park in town and the one way system will confuse on the first day. Better to park and walk then you can sample all the local cheese and honey on offer.
This was a wonderful apartment! We loved everything about it. The location was amazing in a charming town. All the people who lived in the town were so friendly. The breakfast was by far one of the best we have had in Portugal. The warm fresh bread and cakes and local farm cheese made for a perfect start to the day. The terraces were so nice to enjoy coffee in the morning and wine in the evenings. Beautiful pool as well. We will stay here again!
Laura is an outstanding host with a unique and beautiful property. The gardens and pool are beautifully laid out and the whole atmosphere is one of relaxation. The location is close to the national park and the town of Seia in a small village. Highly recommended and would love to visit again.
The staff were excellent! They told us everything we needed to know and we did pretty much everything they recommended and we loved it! Everything was perfect. I couldn't believe how nice the place was for the price!
Rui the owner of the chales was wonderful! The place was just what we were looking for. Dinner also perfect. One of the best places to stay!
The location is great, has restaurants close by and also a supermarket. It was very cold this time of the year but the room was very cozy
Ana was a wonderful host. Food was supplied for us to make breakfast with a few extras - freshly picked mushrooms.
Liked everything. Stayed there the past 4 years. Brilliant location for visiting Serra de Estrela.
