Hotel Rural Quinta do Marco - Nature & Dining is located in Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo by Algarve’s Caldeirão Ridge and offers far-reaching views of the Atlantic Ocean. Stayed three nights and pretty close to being a faultless experience. Superb location, friendly and helpful staff, excellent and well priced restaurant, and very good breakfast. Easy to find, plenty of under-cover parking.
Located in beautiful countryside in Algarve, Quinta da Lua is a boutique hotel set among fragrant gardens. Taste level off the charts. Amazing gardens. Best meal I had in Portugal. We hardly left the property. Awesome staff.

Located a 5-minute walk from Tavira’s bustling town center, Maria Nova Lounge Hotel - Adults Only enjoys a quiet hillside location. Its modern rooms feature a private balcony. From the moment we arrived the staff were so friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect as was breakfast. We had a lovely week in Tavira and would choose the Maria Nova again.
Located on the banks of the Ria Formosa, in the center of Tavira, Vila Galé Tavira offers elegant rooms with a private balcony. Facilities include an outdoor pool and a spa. Relaxing, the eggs at breakfast needed more cooking

Rick Steeves callsa Tavira the prettiest fishing village in Portugal and he is right! Great food lovely promenade friendly people good shoppong and even a little ferry for transport to the beach! Perfecto!
We went in late September, was still very busy and the restaurant people were apparently tired of the tourist trade, pretty grumpy. Sunrises are beautiful and the cool, quiet morning walks let you see this beautiful town at it's best.
A city with great charm. Ideal location for older persons and those with young families, not really the place for the 18 - 25 age group ! A great selection of eateries all within easy walking from the centre. Number One place to visit if you are contemplating having a holiday in the Algarve
Loved Tavira it is a charming town with everything close By. Loved the experience of taking the ferry to the beach and the beaches are amazing! Would recommend eating at Braisa do Rio. They have a wonderful Roof top patio and the food is amazing! Our accommodation at Monte do Alamo was also very pretty and peaceful.
The place has some lovely food to offer. My favourite place to eat was Tavira lounge. They have a seating area over looking the river. The town can be beautiful to explore. Although parts can be quite run down looking. There also can be quite a bit of hill walking or step climbing to get to the main points of interest.
Walking around the town and wandering by the river was worthwhile. However, there are so many other towns and villages in the Algarve that offer more, we could have seen all that Tavera offered in a single day.

Fabulous apartment beautifully decorated in lovely ground with plenty of personal outside space. Super comfy bed! We loved the pool area and gardens which are the result of Andreas hard work. We also ordered fresh bread which she bakes which was fabulous. Our hosts gave us lots of useful information about the Tavira area too. The hotel is about 20 mins walk from the centre of town and in very rural surroundings but this for us was part of its appeal. Would definitely recommend this apartment and this area of the East Algarve.

This hotel is out of town & so you definitely need a car or taxi to get there from Tavira. However, once there, it is definitely worth the journey! The hotel is very fresh, modern & exceptionally clean. It is situated in a rural area so it’s very quiet with very little traffic. We received a very warm welcome with clear instructions of the security doors into the property, which all worked perfectly! It’s definitely a place I would return to!

Peoples working there are kind and nice, all. We had a really good welcoming for our special moments. The hotel is really close to Tavira Center, have a nice bar view and have a sauna, pool, everything you need. The breakfast is really really good and there is a lot of choice! The room was okay and modern. Free parking really close, and a really good bakery!

So helpful people - they helped us to put our bikes inside. Hotel is at the heart of Tavira and very quiet at the same time. Breakfast has everything needed for a day of bike riding. Seen the price of this hotel, it is good value. The interior is typical Portugese.

This was the most well-equipped rental of all of our stays in Portugal. A fantastic starter kit when we arrived, very comfortable beds, excellent location and very helpful hosts. Do not hesitate to book this place, I cannot imagine there is a better place in Tavira

Amazingly unique and peaceful property in the heart of Tavira. The team did such a beautiful job rennovating an old house while still keeping so much character and charm. The wonderful rooftop patio was the cherry on top. We enjoyed everything about our stay!

Nice location at the edge of relatively quiet Algarve town. Large, modern comfortable apartment in a peaceful condominium/apartment complex.
