Kumar, the nurse, beach and pool staff who cared for me after my fall, they are all exceptional, genuine individuals who went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. What a wonderful surprise from Kumar and the boys who arranged a birthday cake for me prior to our departure. Our heartfelt thanks to you all, you all have a special place in our hearts, especially Kumar. Sincere thanks and we look forward to our next stay.

Together with my wife, we spent Christmas and New Year's break here. From the beginning to the end, a very caring and always smiling team looked after us, for whom the satisfaction of guests and the creation of memorable moments is a well-established policy. Even housekeepers or technical department workers accidentally encountered in the corridors or in the elevator were making sure that we were satisfied. To my question how it is possible, one of the managers told me that the example goes from the General Manager, through the management down to the line employees. Well, congratulations! Job well done! In addition, the hotel is super clean, functionally designed, perfectly laid on the entrance to Pearl of Qatar and offers a newly opened beach this year, which is an undoubted advantage for Europeans like us who run away from winter to sun. My special thanks go to the General Manager, Director of Rooms, Guest Experience Manager and Guest Service Manager, who ensured that our stay in the hotel and outside the hotel was fantastic. The professional welcome at the hotel, beautifully arranged room as part of the end of our honeymoon, as well as the great safari on the desert dunes were the unforgettable experiences. Noteworthy is also the super attentive and always smiling Team of Club Lounge. The quality of food and service as well as the ingenuity of the staff in the individual approach to the guest was of the highest quality. And last but not least. We will be back. Definitely!

Staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly.

Got your day off to a good start and were always greeted with a “welcome back.” Location - near the Islamic Museum, Art Museum, Souk Wakif, all the places I was interested in exploring, also an ATM two steps out the front door.The room, very clean and comfy. Spændende og anderledes land der bærer præg af masser af penge og nybyggeri. Pt lidt udfordring at gå flere steder. Besøg endelig Cornichen, Katara, museet for Arabisk kunst, ørkenen og Soug’en. Folk venlige og hjælpsomme og føles trygt at være der. Meget rent alle vegne. Undrede os over meget få cafeer/isboder på Cornichen.

Hurtigt voksende by med masser af bygninger og luksuriøse områder at kigge på. Dog er der ikke meget at fortage sig som turist. Bliv ikke mere en 2 nætter da du vil begynde at lede dig. Byen er et stort bygge-rod, da de istandsætter byen til VM i 2022.

Et ok sted at bruge en eller to overnatninger, ved mellemlanding (stopover) The Pearl har gode restauranter, en flot marina mm. The Villagio er et godt shopping sted under et kæmpe tag som er oplyst og ligner en himmel, de har gondoler man kan blive sejlet rundt i. Rally i ørknen hvis du har mere tid og godt kan lide firehjulstrækker med fart på.

Spændende mix af nyt og gammelt. Både mht byggeri og befolkning. Der bliver bygget overalt og man møde mænd i traditionelle dragter der går tur med klapvogn. Ok at gå rundt v souk og havnefronten. Meget stemningsfuldt om aftenen i Souken.
