We had a nice stay in July in the Casa Botár in Torockó (Rimetea). Check in was very quick and efficient, only had to fill out a small form. We opted in for the breakfast, the charge 35RON for it. It is reasonably priced given the variety. Most of the breakfast items are grown/made by them (vegetables, jams, zakuszka, etc) and there are also local specialities that you can try and bring home. If you need to leave earlier, you can eat earlier, we sticked to the 8:30 that the other guests had breakfast. The room was clean, and well maintained. Our view was directly to the mountain, so we woke up every day at 5 to see the sunrise. :) Gladly recommend this and would love stay here the next time as well thanks to the Botár family and the exceptional service they provide.

My room was big, comfortable, and as warm as toast. It was also tastefully decorated with traditional furniture: exactly what you would expect in such a charming Transylvanian village. Breakfast was simple but very good and included Hungarian specialities such as bundás kenyér. Other reviews complained about the hot water supply but I had no issues with that throughout my stay.
