The location, price, cleanliness and staff are amazing. The sites do not do this location justice, as you think a 3 star is bad and this place is amazing based on staff, cleanliness and shower power!! I choose this location over many of the much higher priced places I have stayed. The only thing I would like is a space to sit and meet with others.

This lodge is a hidden gem in Musanze! It’s affordable but doesn’t compromise on quality. The garden is beautifully maintained, and waking up to the view of the volcanoes was unforgettable. Rooms are spacious, water is hot, and Wi-Fi worked surprisingly well. It’s the ideal base for exploring the region. I’ll definitely be back

The breakfast was good and the hired staff very nice and helpful. I had a 2-story unit with the upstairs bedroom (with mosquito netting) and a bathroom that was ok. Potential visitors that plan on going on the Gorilla Trek/Golden Monkey walk should be advised that the owner charges $100 USD RT to take you to the Gorilla trek and $30 USD for the Golden Monkeys.

URUGANO VIRUNGA PALACE in Nyarugina provides accommodations with a bar and a shared lounge. There's a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay.

Fabrice and Julia were EXCELLENT hosts. I was there as a solo female traveler and was very comfortable. I went in March (the off/rainy season in Rwanda) so I was the only one in the hotel. The food and the service were outstanding. I had chicken mbarre and it was fresh and incredibly flavorful. They even arranged for breakfast at 6am so I could go to Volcanoes National Park, just a short drive away. Rooms were clean and had outlets and mosquito nets. My bathroom was a wet bath and had shower gel available.
