I had a wonderful stay at Ibigabiro Hotel. The breakfast was truly amazing—fresh, delicious, and with a great variety to start the day right. The location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable experience. I would definitely recommend it🤗😍

Bumpy, dirt road to the facility is worth to travel to reach this gem. Friendly staff, excellent and well priced food, overall impeccable cleanliness. Rooms in the form of bungalows with lake view (just 20 m away from the shore), with tea and coffee making facilities. You wake up to the sound of birds and fishermen singing in their boats. Paradise for bird watchers. Calm and relaxing - strongly recommended!

The Resort is perfectly situated right on Lake Kivu. It’s also very close to Nyungwe National Park, so you can spend the night here when doing activities in the park. The food in the restaurant is also good. Daniel is also a great host. He helped us in the very early morning when we had a flat tire. Thanks a lot, we are very grateful!

Beautiful spot overlooking the jungle. has a good enough restaurant and the staff were very accomodating. rooms come with a terrace as well. Just down the hill in a small trading village with a small restuarant. Chimpanzee lodge also makes for a good place to base yourself in the area.
