Katterjokk Turiststation offers pet-friendly accommodations in Riksgränsen. Free private parking is available on site. All rooms have a dining table. Some rooms feature a private kitchenette. We liked the bath house - new, clean & comfortable. The lounge was good too. The owner/manager went above & beyond trying to help us, which we really appreciated, Elizabeth put the snoring grandparents in another room!!

Set 155 mi above the Arctic Circle, in Björkliden, the ski-to-door access chalets at Kåppas Cabin Village overlook the Lapporten Valley. Great friendly helpful staff. Good self-service breakfast and lunch, good super from menu. Great activities - dog-sledding, snow-mobiling, night-time snow hike to see northern lights. Fantastic sauna in the cabin accommodation.
Micke o Ritas stuga is located in Björkliden. The air-conditioned property is 15 miles from Riksgränsen, and guests benefit from complimentary WiFi and private parking available on site. We enjoyed everything. It was easy to find, great hosts and the property was well equipped, clean and newly renovated.
Very small town, in the middle of nowhere, but we rented a car so it was no problem to get around and we enjoyed being surrounded by nature. We were here to see the Auroras in Abisko national park, which was great :)
The whole arrangement was more than what we expected, with comfortable sofas, a little dining table and the bunk beds (though I would prefer to call it 'comfortable sleeping den'!). The morning view from the full height window towards the sub-kissed white mountains was an excellent treat for the eyes :) All in all, it's one of the best hotels I've stayed so far in the north! Thank you Katterjåkk Apartments for the memorable 2 days!
