This hotel is housed in an elegant 18th-century health resort, 5 minutes’ walk from Söderköping’s main square, Torget. It provides free Wi-Fi, fine dining and various spa treatments. The hotel is amazing. It is like stepping back in time to the turn of the last century. Beautiful lounges. The grounds were lovely now, they would be stunning in mid-summer. The breakfast was great; the beds were very comfortable.
Thorstorps Gård B&B is set on a horse farm and offers accommodations 1.6 mi from Söderköping. This historical environment with details preserved from the 18th and 19th century. We had a small house of 18 century, it was very clean with fridge, free water for family, big table. The hotel is providing microwave, all necessary plates, knives, forks, spoons, glasses. Beautiful view to fields and to horses, children were so happy to see cats and ponies too. The breakfasts were good: coffee/tea/juice, muesli, boiled eggs, bread/loaf, tomato/cucumber, melon, (no warm breakfasts). Large selection of tea, after I have bought two teas and they are fantastic. It is no needed to see TV, jyst you, your family and beautiful nature with horses and field. It is romantic time!

Gårdshuset is set in Söderköping and offers a garden and a terrace. The property has garden views and is 24 mi from Kolmården. The location was superb. The quality of the living was superb even down to the small details, for example a shoehorn and an umbrella. On top of that the place had great character!
Located in Söderköping, 31 mi from Nyköping, Mangelgårdens B&B provides a shared lounge and free WiFi. A continental breakfast is available daily at the bed and breakfast. We were on a bicycle trip across the country and got amazing recommendations for our road ahead after one night at Mangelgårdens B&B. So we totally changed our travel plans and are so happy that we did. Very professional and the staff is also a great source for info and recommendations for those who want to explore Söderköping, a jewel in Södermanland.
Charming and small. After a walk through the cute town we had a nice burger dinner in the sun by the canal at Lock, hop & barrel brewery and then a huge icecream at Smultronstället. A very nice evening!
A beautiful medieval town with lovely buildings and cobbled streets. Its right on the Gota Kanal. Lovely walks in the forest and cycling paths along the Kanal right down to Mem which is the start of the Kanal and up to Motala on Lake Vattern. Home also the famous ice cream cafe Smultronstallet. In close proximity to other beautiful areas like the St Anna archipelago, where you can hire kayaks - well worth it as you need to get out on the water to really appreciate the area. The other two cities worth visiting are Norkoping for its architecture and Linkoping which has an excellent Airforce museum which is free as well as the old historic town of Gamla Linkoping - both also have very interesting museums and other sights to see. Also all the lovely locks all along the Kanal especially at Berg.
