The property was located in a gated area with a dozen or so other properties. We were there at end of the season so nobody in the other homes and except for some construction work going on across the road the surroundings were very quiet....imagine that it can get busy in high season though. There was a pleasant little walk to the nearby lake but for longer walks you would need to get outside of the gated area. The host provided cheese & meat platters for breakfast as well as a variety of juices, bread and yoghurt. For those wanting to cook/self-cater, the kitchen was very well equipped. The sauna is a bonus.
