Exceptionally helpful, warm and friendly communication welcomed us even before our arrival. The residence is in a perfect location, surrounded by mountains. Just behind the parking area, across the road, there are steps leading down to the beautiful Soča River. Every photo taken there looks like a postcard — it is almost impossible to believe that such a place exists in real life and is not simply paradise on earth. A shop and bar are only about a two-minute walk away, as is a beautiful church from where you can start hiking into the mountains, meaning there is no need to drive anywhere. While walking towards the waterfalls, you notice another major advantage of this place. There may be many tourists in the surrounding area, but once you return to Residence Soča, you no longer feel the crowds. You come back to peace and quiet, hearing only nature and the sound of the river. It is also possible to book the sauna every day for private use. During our stay, the jacuzzi was not working, but honestly, we probably would not have had much time to use it anyway, as there is so much to see and do nearby. The kitchen has all the necessary equipment. You should also definitely try the tea provided in the apartment. The herbs are collected from local fields, and we were even given some to take home as a souvenir. Coffee capsules were also provided, so there was no need to buy our own. I would especially recommend this residence to anyone travelling with a dog — in our case, a Labrador. A comfortable dog bed and bowls were already prepared in the apartment, and there is a separate outdoor bin for dog waste. You can truly feel that your dog is genuinely welcome here and that every detail has been carefully considered. Once again, thank you to the entire team for your communication and hospitality. I am not sure I have ever experienced such an exceptionally high level of communication anywhere else.
