There are not enough words to describe how incredible our stay was. My mom is originally from Medzilaborce (Čertizné) and had not been back to visit family in 20 years. We decided to stay at Typton hotel based off family recommendations. It did not disappoint. We had the apartment, and if it fits within your budget, I highly recommend it. We were three adults (my parents, myself, and my three small children 9,7,and 5 years of age). The apartment gave us space so we did not feel cramped. The kids had beautiful comfortable beds, plenty of area to play and relax in while everyone got ready, amazing kitchen to warm up meals, spacious bathroom with a tub and shower (super helpful for bathing the little ones). My parents are in their 70s, and struggle with back and knee problems but they were incredibly comfortable. We spent all day out with family but it was so nice to return to the hotel and have a space that felt like home. The staff were amazing. AMAZING! The manager of the hotel, was so professionally. You could tell that this was not just a job to him, but a part of his reputation, and one that he is incredibly proud of. When we heard that my mom was returning home after 20 years away, he brought flowers, a welcome fruit basket, and treats for the kids. We are already planning a return trip and will only stay at the Typton.
